thanks for that Strawdog, most reassuring! has anyone ever appeared on your door step demanding the money? How much was their last demand for? Do you think that the escalating fine will ever get to a value that will make it worth their while to take you to court?

Sorry Strawdog, New to this site. I thiink i got your message mixed up with a guy whos mum got a ticket and was very worried and he was trying to sort it out for her. It was back in June but I can't find it now. You probably tried to give him some advice and I have got confused. not sure what #982 refers to!

Thanks guy's, I am using your advice here... the latest demand is from the debt colletion agency, would you also ignore that. Only the wife is getting a bit twichy! I am going away for a week in early November and I don't really want her to be confronted by mobsters on the doorstep demanding money. What do you think?

Thanks again asmodeus. I will be ready for their next approach. The latest DO NOT IGNORE THIS LETTER, dated 16/10/2009 received yesterday so any day now I expect. If they have a county court judgement against me would I be aware of it? Their 1st letter states "Failure to pay the full amount within 7 days of this notice will result in us issuing an immediate county court summons against you"

I have just seen the rest of it. Do you think I will actually get a visit from the debt collection agency if I make no contact with them? Or would you send a letter stating I will not pay unless a court orders that I do pay.

Parking at MacDonalds, over stayed their offical time allowance. I never saw the sign about max length of time allowable. Original fine £120 reduced to £75 if quick payment. I employed (or thought I employed) Ticketshield, who have gone on the missing list, to sort it out. I now have a debt collection agency called Newlyn after me for £211.25p. I haven't acknowledged any of their demands.

How did it work out with your mother. I am in a similar position.

Ticketshield. Did you ever get your ticket sorted by this mob. I have to hold my hands up as I also sent them ther £37.50 believing they were going to work on my behalf. First time offender, everything is easy if you know how. I now have the debt collectors letter, £211.25. Has anyone actually taken this non payment route to the limit or are they all barrackroom lawyers?
