  1. I didnt forget about it, I gave them my address, it was a buy to let property, they knew I didnt live there! Ive clearly not gone LOOKING for the information, but I should have been informed surely!
  2. Hi All read a few posts and threads, a lot of advice here!!! I have a situation that I cant find info about, I owned a house that was apparently taken into possession on the 8th September. The mortgage, while being my main residence previously, was arrabged on a BUY to LET mortgage with GE Money. I used to run public houses and therefore did not need a residential property most of the time. The property was rented out and was going to be earning about £500 above the mortgage rate. The 1st payment of the rent was due when the eviction order apparently turned up and the renter understandably would not pay! I have moved a 100 miles away to secure work and am living with a friend, I gave GE Money my new address but received nothing about the eviction or court dates and have therefore lost the house becasue I had no chance of defending it. Is there anyway to chanllenge this, I have spoken to the court who said its too late to do anything in regard to a Section N244 notice thing becasue they already have possession. Is there really nothing I can do?
  3. hey If you give back the guys cos u have left the lender will sell the house. The secured loans will be paid out of any proceeds after the first mortgage is cleared. If there is not enough money to pay them off then they will expect you to clear the debt. However, this will form part of your bankruptcy so you will not have to pay it! Not a lot of point in paying them therefore, but thats my opinion! beware thoughm ive read that if you send the keys back, then they could see you as having made yourselves homeless and the still wont house you!
