EBICO changes

Just received the letter from SSE saying eBico cannot automatically move THEIR customers to a new BACKEND sub-contractor. However, I think my contract of supply is with eBico NOT directly with SSE who are a sub-contractor to eBico. So basically it appears the whole "we do not want to do this any more" statement from SSE is a scheme to grab eBico's customers?
