Hi I am new to this site. I am selfemployed, and have a PPP single premium policy with barclays, took it out in november 06 25,000 loan 6,122.50 PPI insurance term over 85 months I enquired about 6 months to get my PPI taken off ,the bank said my new loan rate would be 12.9, at the moment my rate is 6.27 a lot of difference?[[#needless to say i have not done that. Iam in the process of sending a complaint to the bank watch this space

Hi I am new to this site Iam selfemployed, and have a PPI single premium policy with Barclays took out in november 2006 loan 25,000 ppi premium loan 6,122.49 term 85 months at 6.270% Ifelt that if i did not take the insurance i would not get the loan.Iwent in bank before christmas to ask about it they said could take off PPI, but intrest would be 12.9 Iwas disgusted as i am a good customer and have a good credit rating. Ifeel that the PPI does not suit my needs Any advice please? thankyou
