  1. I've now had a letter from ScotCall threatening a Doorstep Call - does anyone have any experience with them? My doorstep is not really much too look at so not sure why they want to vist it it though!! Still getting calls almost daily from UKPC, I'm ignoring them but it is becoming a hassle. My other half answered one other day tho and said I was not in, asked to take a message and the girl said she was a friend wanting to speak to me - can't remember the name she used - but I don't know anyone by the name she gave and we knew it was them - there must be something I can do to stop these calls which are now all too frequent - anyone know? Thanks, Dilbitini
  2. Can anyone advise as to how long the process is until they stop harrassing me? I've had the "payslip" style letter and have not responded in any way to calls or letters. Also, my friends just got a ticket this lunchtime - suposedly for not getting a 1hr free parking ticket to display - yet the upkc guy took a pic as they litterally got out the car and went to look for a sign/machine. There must be something we can do to stop this? Dilbitini
  3. Thanks for the replies to my post guys. I shall continue as I am then, ignoring the letters and calls, although the later is becoming a pain. There must be some way to stop them harrassing people at home like this? Does anyone know how long I have to endure this for btw?
  4. Hi, I am new to posting on this site, although have been following it since I received a deposit on my windscreen from the lovely UKPC a few months ago. I have since ignored the 8 or so letters and twice weekly telephone calls, as advised on here. But, (and I know that this is their intention), I am starting to worry a little as I have now received a "payslip" looking letter stating that i WILL be visited by a debt collector. However I don't seem to see a mention on here of anyone else getting one of these. Can anyone confirm that they have, and reassure me that ignoring them is still the right thing to do. Also, I thought you could only get a CCJ if you have unpaid "debt" ? And I don'yt owe them a penny. Thanks
