After reading Cameront888 message I contacted Paddington Loans and threatened them with Watchdog and the Police and GMTV and what a surprise I actually got an email back from them reading as follows: Sorry to inform you but after our underwriters have looked over your loan application, we have to inform you that this time you have not been unsuccessful and we will return your administration charge to you minus our charges for works already carried out at this time. I have sent them loads of emails and a recorded delivery letter and have had no replies but the minute I threatened them they replied. I will wait and see if I get my money back.

Yes I have certainly heard of them. I applied for a loan and was told I had been accepted but was asked for £50. I emailed them and was told that they were the lender and it was a guaranteed loan. I sent them £50 recorded delivery but then didnt receive any paperwork. I emailed them seveal times and eventually got a reply and was told the paperwork would be put in the post that night. That was the 24 April. Nothing arrived. I emailed loads of times no replies. I eventually sent a recorded delivery letter to them and it was signed for but still not reply from them. When I think about it now I sent them an email asking for a phone number to contact them on and I had a email back stating someone had tried to contact me they dont have a specific phone number because they have agents all over the Country. I emialed Free Index whose website they were advertised on and they gave me a phone number but it was not Paddington loans. They have since removed them from their site. Does anyone know who I can contact to try and contact these people, I know I wont get my money back but something needs doing about people like these. pinbadge.
