  1. it was 24% a month ago - i have no idea where 44% has come from - i do know that you cannot join pension unless been there for x amount of years, unable to use managers car/get company car unless 21+ That advertisment is wrong and completely misleading
  2. Bonus has changed twice in the time i was there orignially poss 11% over quarter, then 24% quarter based on 2 months results, then 24% over quarter Letters should be dealt with on day of receipt - but generally no responses are made in writing I didn't go on an induction course until my tenure was 6 months Liscense to sell is the course taken for sales of ppi but staff are not compliant when selling to hit targets for ppi sales. I will need to go now. However i will def be back on at 6 for 15-20 mins then again tonight around 8pm
  3. They have provided a break down saying where the money is owed but say they can only accept cheques full stop
  4. I have rec'vd a letter stating I owe £320+ to them for leaving when I did. Apparently 3 days wage and 2 days holiday. Also they adv I can only pay by cheque (not even bankers drafts) and if I cannot pay by cheque they will send to the Lewis Group for recovery which will go on my credit file. Is this allowed??? I am actually quite scared
  5. the employee booklet just has details on holdiay allowances, working hours, disciplinary procedures etc. it states to refer to HR Policy Manual for details regarding calls and letters to customers.
  6. hi mojo8 - i apologise for not posting lastnight but it appears i may be in trouble with welcome hr myself... i just dont know what to do now?!
  7. Assumptions are never correct. Again, please may i reiterate, I am not a "spy".
  8. Thank you for your understanding - I will ensure I do everything I can to help on this forum and will ensure clear facts are presented. It is very difficult to remain emotionless when I know the dispair that has been caused by welcome. However, onwards and upwards, as I say I will do what I can. The above about secured loan is completely out of policy. If you read or can read the HR policy - it stipulates 14 day cooling off only when ROT is recieved back from the CPU ROT team. No documents to be signed off trade. I have once been told to get a rewrite signed a customers place of work at 8.15pm whilst they are on a cigarette break.....
  9. because the pack sent to clients is sent for info only - not to be signed so customers have all info through 14 day cooling off, the actual contract is always to be signed on trade.
  10. complaints are dealt with via an eform on the welcome intranet - first highlighted to BM of the branch to resolve, then to AM, then RM etc 10 days are given at each level to resolve then a closing letter has to be sent to the customer.,
  11. basically - at welcome after a first appointment to prove affordability, a secured loan off trade pack is supposed to be sent (unsigned by anyone) the 14 day cooling off is started and you are not allowed to be contacted at all by anyone. then you would be booked in for a second appointment where you sign on trade documents - again even in these circs off trade packs are not allowed to be used by local branches
  12. I will attempt it tonight - but be patient, will have to actually set mine up
  13. in response to DGI site - I have never been able to discuss a customer's account with Direct Group - and the customer has only agreed to be sold PPI not that we can talk about their claim with the company
  14. yes - that is okay as long as they have stated their full name, signed and put the branch address in full
  15. Just a little pointer - if no charges listed might be an off trade contract. local branches are not allowed to use these EVER and there are instances where these are unenforcable due to this
  16. we were always told unable to discuss anything about a customer's insurance unless we could provide written authority from a customer
  17. that's what i have always thought - thats the only number we were allowed to provide customers, we would then use the DGI website to track claims.
  18. I will do what I can, I will answer questions if I know the answers. I am sorry but I am still getting over the horror that was welcome. My life is just about returning to some state of normality. I just want to help. perhaps if i detail some of the tactics used, it will help people make effective complaints etc to FSA and Ombudsman and the company themselves??
  19. as far as i have been aware - brokers only get the loan approved in principal. did you get to speak to either head office in hull or notts? or speak to a local branch when set up??
  20. why are you all hung up on commission? i have proof only bonus was earnt in the branches - The reason why I am being a little vague is that none of you are being particularly pleasant, nor trusting what i actually say! I can prove who I am and eveything if you require but then, how do you prove who you are?? You could also be an employee etc
  21. I will answer these tonight when home but the ans to acceptance fee one is yes. PPI claims approved are done through Direct Group. the charges incurred for letters are now £10, I dont know the company cost. I know per policy only 1 every 3 days is allowed and only allowed to charge once a month. (this is same for calls) I have seen a few unenforcable cases that welcome know are unenforcable but the clients don't.
  22. sorry for??? I understand how it must come to suprise that commission wasn't earnt, after all, why would the job be done? but bonus was BIG you could earn almost double your annual wage if the branch was hitting targets
