Back in 1993 I was made bankrupt, lost my house everything, apart from my car which apparently was worthless. I waited my 2 years, and was discharged. Now all of a sudden I am getting letters from Buchanan Clark & wells for a debt that was part of my bankruptcy. I don't know how they found me as I since changed my name and don't know what to do about them. Any help ?

I currently have Black Horse chasing me for a debt of approx £4k. I have now been paying this loan since 2002 and don't seem to be clearing it. Anyway after having a bout of severe illness, a heart attack, I have been unable to pay for the last 12 months. I asked for a copy of the agreement, which they sent but it is not dated. Even the bit where it says 48 monthly payments starting on is blank. For me it wouldn't be a problem but my partner co signed as I needed the money in a hurry at the time. I wondered if anybody could give me some advise on how to deal with them.
