  1. thanks for your input my name is on the loan but i cannot remember sighning for it, so shall i request s.a.r + cca (apologise if i'm getting mixed up with these terms) is it worth a shot??? If i can get off it i will not feel guilty, i no they prob will chase her but as i said i have paid my bit, she has dropped me in the proverbial. I know its a long shot but surely, ya never kow till you tried, besides i need to know what has gone on, i have had no correspondance reguarding this loan for 2 years since i vacated my property(did not inform them of change of address, big mistake!!)
  2. thanks for reply, yes spoke to her, she told me to ignore the letter i recieved from blair oliver and scott which is threatening further action, someone coming to door. She told me the loan is involved in her own debt consolidation programme, not sure which and how hers particually works, she says that she is contributing to it, how i dont know, i know i am liable, its just annoying that i have already paid my half and i may have to pay the oustanding£6000, is it worth asking for the sighned credit agreement as i cannot remember sighning for it as she was the one which set the account up?
  3. dont know if i'min the right forum but here goes, Took joint loan out in 2001 with ex which i seperated about 4 years ago, i continued to pay her in 3monthly installments by cheque, then 14 months ago she said if i paid her £2000 my half would be clear and she would chase me no more. i deposited the amount in cash into her bank account, recently i have been involved in identity fraud so i checked my credit report to see what was going on, and this loan cropped up and has not been paid for 12 months(min only states last 12) i know that she went to a debt management scheme and i believe this loan was included in said scheme, is this loan still enforceable to me as she has a new agreement, also when this loan was set in place ex sorted it, she had my details but i cannot remember sighninig for it. Anyone have any ideas as to what avenue i should go down, the account is in default and ihave recieved letter from blair oliver and scott for further action, this letter went to my old address and it is only because my step dad owns that house and the tennant brought the letter to his attention where do i stand and what letter can i send????????????
