  1. No problem. If I'd thought about it I should have just called them all the same thing then logged the revision number in the sheet itself to avoid updating links every time
  2. If you want mine please get it from here rather than the link in Bills post above as that leads to a previous version.
  3. Hi RCR50 - if that's what the spreadsheet says, you can rely on the figure to be pretty accurate. I've got a claim thats about double that and the interest incurred due to charges is also about double so it sounds like it's about right to me. That's £67 of your own money that you are entitled to get back. Don't let them keep hold of it!
  4. Memnoch - I've just remembered you wanted copies of those letters - sorry about that it completely slipped my mind. I've got most of the stuff scanned, i'll do the last couple tonight and get them emailed to you.
  5. Fortunately there are spreadsheets that do it for you Try the one in my sig, or I would think one of the one's in Vampiress' chambers does it. The amount may actually surprise you. It amounts to about £130 for one of my accounts if I remember right, and my claim isn't large in comparison to some. Besides which it's the principle as much as the amount. Why should they take your money and then charge you interest for the pleasure! Get back what's yours!
  6. I'm currently half way through making a credit card one.
  7. Hi John - yes this would be because I'm extremely forgetful and forgot to unlock those extra cells. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will fix and update. To save you redownloading etc, you can fix this by going to Tools > Protection > Unprotect Sheet while you are on the offending tab. This will unlock every cell on that tab so be careful not to delete any formulas
  8. That would be incorrect - you cant compound the 8%, and if you're using a non-compounding sheet, you shouldn't be for a contractual claim. Statutory is simple, contractual is compounded,
  9. 1 - yes 2 - you shouldn't get a negative figure - are you sure you are filling out the date ok? Try entering 4/2/7 into the box and see what you get.
  10. Hmm i'd be interested to see why the figure is so different on each sheet. Which spreadsheet did you use other than mine?
  11. Damn right, give em one from me too.
  12. Not unless you were charged all £1000 exactly one year ago. The 8% is calculated on each charge, and it is 8% per year not just 8% of the charge. You dont need to do the maths yourself - if you download the spreadsheet here and enter your charge details it will do all the working out for you - and you will probably find you can claim more than you thought.
  13. I don't really know what they are (I'm 25), I suppose they were a bit before my time! Just know the Accronym from somewhere.
  14. Not quite, but unless you particularly want to know dont worry about the maths, the sheets take care of that. If the charges occur when you are OD, you also get charged interest on the charge. You can then charge interest on this interest.
  15. If you have a positive balance when the interest is taken, you won't have been charged any interest on the charge, so you won't be able to claim any interest on that interest.
  16. I would just add the contractual interest to your LBA. At any other stage I'd say you should start again, but I send a revised claim in my LBA. I don't suppose it will cause you any problems. Just add somethig like "since my previous letter, it has come to my attention that I am entitiled to claim contractual interest blah blah"
  17. No. You add all interest you are charged starting from the date of your first charge. Even if you got charges a year ago and not since, you will still add the 12 months of interest charges. The spreadsheet will workout for you how much of this interest you are paying on the charge. You use the date the interest was actually taken from your account, not the date you were informed of it.
  18. Exactly. The only people you'll wind up with that is the Court. You might think it's a giggle, but the bank are the ones who will really be laughing. If you want to annoy them, do it properly. If it's one thing they hate it's paying money to us.
  19. Try this: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/post-514236.html I would be interested in hearing if anyone has anything else.
  20. You must be having a wind up. That's the only conclusion I can come to after reading this! Not only do these particulars present no legal basis for bringing a claim whatsoever, you also use the phrase "err no"! If you're serious, which I doubt very much, it's not just legal help you need :o
  21. Bill - when you get a chance would you please update my sheet to 1.9. Ta
