Can no one help me. I'd really appreciate any help as to what i need to put into aletter to my bank so that i can get a charge refunded.

I'm going to be writing a letter to my branch manager since this is my first big charge and i'd like to get refunded or whatever. What should i put into the letter?? Should i just state that i was charged £60 for being overdrawn and i would like to get the money refunded.

I went about £30 over on a Direct Debit and RBS charged me £60 which was a Referal charge on my statement and that makes me £90 overdrawn. The problem i have is that i'm currently on job seekers so i can't afford to be overdrawn and so far i've never had any charges as big as this before with the biggest being a tenner. Is there anyway i can get this back and what would i need to do. Would i be best to write a letter to the bank and if so what would i need to say in it. Cheers and thanks in advamce

Will change the letter to suit and see what they say because my father knows nothing about the credit card he supoosidly had with barclycard in which the cabot letter refers to and he can't see how anyone let alone himself could get a credit card in his name with what i assume is not a very good credit rating he has.

So today or possibly yesterday my father gets a letter in the post from Cabot Financial about some barclycard credit card that he owes £600 on but they'll accept £300 odd. I don't know where they get this information because he doesn't own a barclycard and couldn't because of his credit rating. Any advice on Cabot Financial and what he could do to find out more about this credit card he supposidly owes money to as we don't want to pay any money to something we don't know anything about.
