The credit reference was reversed when we spoke to the littlewoods, they contacted the DCA and instructed them to remove the entry which they did.

I will get the letter off asp, it was my daughter who defaulted but the adverse credit reference was placed against my wifes name, resulting in the refusal for a second mortgage

Yep like an idiot I forgot to mention they had moved the date for settlement on both letters to the 20/07/08 I'll post all three up

As the default issued by Litlewoods or Robinsons Way caused my application for £29000 to fail, thus plunging me into a mire of debt.

Jumping the gun here but if this bit works, can't I sue Littlewoods for damage to credit?

They have sent me x 2 they are both different as the date on one is in numerals IE 03/07/08 and the second one is "normal" 03 July 2008, also theirs has no logo on the top of the letter

Hi, Won't the fact we spoke to Littlewoods (about 2 years ago) to have the default removed and they also informed the DCA that my daughter owed the debt and I also spoke to the other DCA (Robinsons way) informing them that the debt was not my wifes, after that they pursued my daughter for the debt

The account was confirmed as being in my daughters name when we called Littlewoods to get the default removed. It is about 7 1/2 years ago since my wife made a payment My daughter defaulted about 7 years ago

The 3 July 2008 is a Thursday, so allowing 2 days for first class post, that makes it Monday for receipt if weekends don't count? I make that 12 days left to respond am I correct?
