  1. one of the usual things will be to write you a ta for complaining we will look into it , then as they put your SAR together they will check the phone calls . if they fail to supply these ,have a go at insisting they do, but if they cannot ,well they cannot say they didnot missell ,so your case will be much stronger . good luck russ see firstpluscomplaints for fellow FP sufferers
  2. There is a train of thought about the multple agreements and how they apply to the way these agreements are written, that is quite conflicting and it is not as straight forward as it seems , but unfortunately there is also a lot in the courts too. There has been cases taken up to appeal level an have not been upheld. so it by no means certain. worse luck as my two loans with FPare the same. Also when the rules changed in 2008 there is a timescale for different loans to become regulated ,depending on size and when they were taken , some 2008 ,2009 .2010. sobest to check your dates on that too .
  3. Agree with above , Fp are notoriuos for doing at most exactly what you ask for and no more , if it comes to providing anything that may assist you in a claim ,they will not supply it. Never received my sales calls or follow on calls, but eventually got them to admit misselling , so keep at them with your complaint ,dont let them fob you off.

  10. Hi, just wanted to pass on my experience in case it may help somebody give up. Iam 50 stated smoking when I was about 11/12 lots of time around 20 a day, then slowly as an adult ended up around 40 to 50 a day . Toyed with giving up a few times , longest was ten months . miserable months! I worked out that I had never considered giving up for myself, it was for the wife ,or the money or some other external source. Then about 18 months ago ,actually found something that I had always wanted to do, did it and found to progress I would need to give up the fags! so decision made ,it was so important to me I just stopped, never used any support groups ,patches etc just stopped, not had one craving or one argument , just decided to become a non smoker its brilliant saved a fortune ,dont smell etc etc If I had'nt found my particular trigger for wanting to give up I never could have done it, so my point is find your own personal trigger/reason, forget everything else it all boils down to you! find that reason the one that finally convinces and makes it worthwhil for yourself!! good luck
