  1. Thanks I saw the OR on Friday afternoon, she seemed very nice (but you never know do you), and said telephone on Monday the bailiff's and council to tell them you are BR. We hope we will sort out the housing on Monday, but as there are six adults in the household, we will have to split up which will cost more, because you cannot have 6 adults in a rented house. Also, I was under the impression that the loan with Black Horse for my car was HP, but when the OR saw the paperwork, she said it was a Personal Loan , so they cannot take the car, and she said I could keep the vehicle as it is not worth miuch.
  2. Hi I have just been made Bankrupt by the HRMC for my Leasehold Pub, but to find anyone who knows anything about a business going bankrupt is hard. I was made bankrupt on Monday, and the Judge said it would be up to 4 weeks before you hear anything from the Official Receiver. Our local CAB, did not know anything about the business side. We are now in limbo.
  3. I have a question, we are now bankrupt, and were due to pay an instalment for business rates and council tax to Ross & Roberts Bailiffs. Do I phone and tell them I'm Bankrupt, or do I wait until they contact me, or will they still want the money?
  4. Help? We are in a leasehold public house, and we due to be made bankrupt on Monday, and will then have to find accommodation to live. We are in Dorset, and having trouble finding anywhere to live, and do not know who to turn to for help. We are 6 adults, with dogs. Can anyone give any advice?
  5. Hi Thanks for the above, I have a BT Pension for which I receive a monthly payment. Can the Official Receiver touch this? What about State Pensions.
  6. I have leasehold pub, and will be made bankrupt by the HMRC on Monday. What will they be able to take as far as private possession's are concerned.
  7. Advice Please I have just had 3 phone calls from Mr Brown, AIC. I told him to put anything in writing. Should I send them a harassment letter?
  8. I have just had my first call from AIC, a Mr Brown, he tried to get personal information from me, but I said who are you and he would not answer. I told him to put it in writing. Should I just wait, and if I keep getting phone calls, send them a harassment letter.
  9. I have today received a yellow card from Allied International Credit (UK) Ltd, demanding full payment of £3595.37, which I can't pay all together. I have read some of the thread's on AIC, but as yet I have not had any telephone calls, if I do I will tell them to put it in writing. Can someone advise me what I should do now or just wait for next step? Do Rockwell have anything to do with this or have they sold it on?
  10. I wrote to them, but all I had back was an acknowledgement of my letter. The hearing is only 2 weeks away, how do I get an adjournment now?
  11. I am wanting to change my Business Bank Account to Barclay's from Nat West. When I saw the Business Manager, he did a credit check, and it showed a CCJ dated 2/8/06. On 2/11/06, I went into an IVA, and the amount of the CCJ went into the IVA. How do I show to Barclay's that the CCJ was not acted on, as they will not let me open an account with this CCJ. Any advise would be appreciated.
  12. Thanks for the replies, which is the best way to contact them by telephone them or put it in writing.
  13. I have this week received a Bankruptcy Petition as I have fallen behind with my IVA payments, and money owed to HMRC. The petition is to be heard on 2/3/09, and the amount claimed is nearly £46,000. On or after 8th March, I will be receiving a lump sum of over £50k, and I want to pay the outstanding amount then. Who should I contact with regard to adjourning the hearing until after that date? I realise I could have avoided this, but like many people I did not think it would get to this stage. All I am wanting is to know what I should do now, as if I go bankrupt I will lose my business.
  14. Thanks for reply, i will wait for a response.
  15. Thanks for the advice. i sent on Saturday a letter to Rockwell saying I could only pay a £1 a month. This morning I received a letter saying I must pay in full in 7 days, or a Debt Collector may visit your home, A Court Judgement may be requested. They say if i am unable to pay in full, I should telephone their Pre-legal department to discuss other possible options. I would like some advice on my next course of action or should I wait till I receive a reply to my letter.
  16. please help I have just had a phone call from Rockwell , wanting to go back to the previous payment plan. I told them I would be writing to them. I am asking if someone could draft me a letter, as I cannot afford the previous payment plan, and I do not want to be pestered by phone calls.
  17. Hi it looks as though I have to pay the balance to them. I cannot pay what I was paying before. Any advice on what I should offer, and a draft letter would help me?
  18. Hi I have scanned the documents, any advise would be appreciated. scan0015.pdf
