Just spoke to LOL and they agreed !!!! that the Usage charge was rather high. Anyway after a friendly polite conversation (important to remember) They have agreed to lower the usage charge to £300. I think this is reasonable for 44 months use. Thanks for all the help.

I have trawled their site but can't find any reference to new security measures. I have been using Paypal for many years now. Problem is some buyers don't give feedback. From what you are saying that would mean they would withold payment for 21 days!!! The only time I have had payment withheld was when some idiot raised a dispute without telling me. In those instances they freeze the amount under dispute. Sorry I can't help further.

Something not right here!!! Feed back is between you and the buyer. Have you checked your Paypal account to see if the money is in there? I never send an item until the buyer has paid either to Paypal or cheque etc.

Can anyone please advice. I purchased a LOL sofa in Feb 2005 for £899. The leather has started to peel. LOL have offered £200 compensation or a replacement sofa. If I want to replace they are asking for a usage fee from me of £549 for the time I have had the sofa. Can they do this legally? Is the amount reasonable. Thanks for any help.
