Daring Fire vs Halifax missold PPI
Daring Fire replied to Daring Fire's topic in Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)
Thank you alanalana Your advice was exactly what i was looking for, I don't have regular internet access but I will try and keep this thread updated with regards to any action we take. Thanks again -
Hello, I am starting this thread on behalf of my parents. They received a phone call from a company offering a no win no fee service to recover missold PPI agianst their mortgage. My dad is self employed and the main earner in his household. I have told them not enlist the services of third a party and let me look into it for them instead. I previously helped them recover bank charges so I'm prepared to do the work and take this as far as i need to if there is a valid claim. I'm sure I've seen references to PPI on this site. Sorry if I'm missing something that is obvious, but is there a guide to this sort of thing on this site? If not would it best for me to trawl through old posts in the Halifax section or are PPI claims filed seperatly. I would appreciate a little bit of advice to get started. Many thanks

tiler1, I would delete the paragraph in your last post that refers to a question your solicitor may ask in court. Your opening post has already identified the store as B&Q. It is not inconceivable that this information could reach the security guard. That question relies on surprise and would be easily deflected if it was expected.
