I have now written to RBS to claim back the £3370.00 they have taken in unfair charges. The 14 days i have given them for a response if nearly up. Will keep you updated.

Thanks for the info I have received the last 6 years statements and have now written to the bank (RBS) to claim this money back, no response as yet. Still finding my way round the forum so will hopefully post on the correct forum next time
