Posting on behalf of a friend she has split up with her partner they had a joint mortgage which is now up to date with payment but also there is a loan secured against the house which she didn't know about and an overdraft on there joint account which has been used by her partner as her name wasn't removed from it she is now getting demands for it all , her patnet has gone bankrupt and she is left with these debts and cannot afford to pay them any ideas on where to go from here please any advice greatfully appriciated

The only terms were a tag attached saying do not remove until satisfied and return within 7 days but i told her my reasons on why didn't return sooner , should i email her saying something about terms etc before saying i will be taking it further ?

Ok its just she has 3 days left to collect ubtil they are returned

UPDATE I sent a letter saying that it was nothing to do with my mum so they removed her and set new court date. The date came and went! I then received a letter from court on 14th July 2009 saying that it is ordered that the claimants application to set aside judgement against 1st defendant (my Mum), and the return of goods order against the 2nd defendent (ME) be struck out In what position does this put me? HI, Hope this is the correct place for this and hope somebody can give me some advice. I Bought Some Waistcoats from a sole trader about 5 weeks ago 1st hitch was within the 1st week 2 of them were the wrong sizes i had given the exact measurements i wanted and style etc so i sent 2 back and she sent be another 2 but i couldnt get the other tried on for another 3 weeks and when i did that also is the wrong size and they jusyt didn't look right with the suits they looked cheap and rubbish so as i opened a dispute with paypal as paid though paypal but the woman emailed me straight away saying she was sorry i felt like that and to return them and she would give me a full refund , So i sent them later that day paypal dispute got cancelled and she said she was'nt willing to refund me! well now i am nearly £100 down and no waistcoats! and she isn't replting to my emails Any ideas on what i can do next please ?

I am O/D-£107 in a joint account and -£200 odd in personal account All of this is Bank charges! I changed bank accounts now but anyway they have sent me letters saying that unless its paid within 10 days they will start legal proceedings! Is this a joke as we the public cannot take them to court re bank charges but they can us is this correct? and can anybody tell me if there is a letter template i can send to them please?

also it says on the letters the old number plate which was a private plate and not on the car any longer which is strange!

The finance is in my name just the log book has her name on as we insured it in her name and me as a driver on policy I will not be able to pay a penny as i only receive benefits and im unemployed so what will they do?

I can't afford to pay the fee or anything back to them so i suppose it will just have to go back, but its not at her address and she will be away when they go

But what if the car isn't there which is isn't ? and she has nothing to do with all this?! Also sorry its the 9th march not 5th

well she has got a letter saying basically it is adjudged that the claiment do recover against defendent the following goods of the claiment weongly kept by the defendant , Namely (THE CAR) The sum of £250 for costs It is ordered that the defendent (My Mother) do return the goods to the claiment forthwiith and also pay the sum of £250 for costs to reach claiment forthwith It is further ordered that the money claims be adjorned generally with liberty to restore this and another letter saying they will be visiting on the 5th i have had nothing come to my address either!

No i have not paid for over 2 years

My mother has received a letter for judgement delivery of goods But the car is mine! she is on the log book but doest own the car anyway they say they are coming to collect on 5th March but there will me no car at her address can anybody give me any advise on writing a letter to the court saying basically this is not her car not in her possesion etc Any advise will be greatly received

I have had a letter today from sechiari , clark & mitchell solicitors on behalf of Black horse acknowleging me letter for cca etc they have enclosed a copy off cca default notices & statement of account which seems to all be in order but i dont have a clue what to do next shall i just give the car back ask if they will take payments they wont be very much though as im unemployed ! can anybody advise please?
