Posting on behalf of a friend she has split up with her partner they had a joint mortgage which is now up to date with payment but also there is a loan secured against the house which she didn't know about and an overdraft on there joint account which has been used by her partner as her name wasn't removed from it she is now getting demands for it all , her patnet has gone bankrupt and she is left with these debts and cannot afford to pay them any ideas on where to go from here please any advice greatfully appriciated

The only terms were a tag attached saying do not remove until satisfied and return within 7 days but i told her my reasons on why didn't return sooner , should i email her saying something about terms etc before saying i will be taking it further ?

Ok its just she has 3 days left to collect ubtil they are returned

I have her full name and address i don't know if she is an actuall y reg company she has a website shop but nowhere on there says if she is registered , she has not collected them from the post office i just checked

UPDATE I sent a letter saying that it was nothing to do with my mum so they removed her and set new court date. The date came and went! I then received a letter from court on 14th July 2009 saying that it is ordered that the claimants application to set aside judgement against 1st defendant (my Mum), and the return of goods order against the 2nd defendent (ME) be struck out In what position does this put me? HI, Hope this is the correct place for this and hope somebody can give me some advice. I Bought Some Waistcoats from a sole trader about 5 weeks ago 1st hitch was within the 1st week 2 of them were the wrong sizes i had given the exact measurements i wanted and style etc so i sent 2 back and she sent be another 2 but i couldnt get the other tried on for another 3 weeks and when i did that also is the wrong size and they jusyt didn't look right with the suits they looked cheap and rubbish so as i opened a dispute with paypal as paid though paypal but the woman emailed me straight away saying she was sorry i felt like that and to return them and she would give me a full refund , So i sent them later that day paypal dispute got cancelled and she said she was'nt willing to refund me! well now i am nearly £100 down and no waistcoats! and she isn't replting to my emails Any ideas on what i can do next please ?
