1. hey bazooka, didnt realise it was you...beginning to realise how desperate these poor fools really are!.the thing is that according to my credit report the so called debt will be removed in feb 2011 so i will be seeing a large change in my credit file from next year and this all seems a last ditch desperate attempt to screw me up before i finally get full control back.it has taken along time, believe me to get my credit back on track and to a level now that is fair.idiots like these seem intent on pulling you back down into the quagmire.well... not me suckers!!
2. haha yea thats about right. they just emailed me today. from the email address "makeusanoffer@lowell". can you seriously believe it! felt like replying with "getalife@lowell!
3. Hey there Guys, Well Lowlifes have started up again since the last instalment. They went very quiet for a while after the No Acknowledgement Letter was shoved in their faces plus the Final Contact letter delivered another hefty swipe to the midriff. I simply asked for actual proof from Bt about the debt.you know,"some proof' of debt. Well i could hardly believe what they sent me. About 4-5 sheets of simple a4 paper, with a so called bill mapped out on it!!. i love to post it but have some probs with this since last posts. There was no official logo from bt,nothing official at all on it. Honestly,i could have typed it up myself or asked my 90 year old granny to knock one off for me.It was that Bad!! Possibly a screen shot from something they use regularly or just made up in about an hour!! Anyway, what should i do,its hardly worth replying to, or should i continue dialogue to prolong their agony.!
4. i,m just wondering how to go about it?
5. hey bazooka, many thanks again for your input. that letter looks the absolute nuts and with your permission i will go ahead with it. as you say they appear to be faffing about and not attempting to go any further with this until i accept some sort of liability. well., thats never going to happen.they are definately in the wrong and i would love to be able to report them over this. do i have any options,or should i just leave it?
6. Hi,i have received a letter from bank o scotland about the payment protection cover sold to me on my credit card(aqua). it seems a very in depth letter about the fact i may have been sold cover when i didnt need it or was pressured into it. are they doing this to cover themselves in order that i dont make any kind of clail. i,m not sure about this at all. any advice gratefully received.
7. Hi there i have an update from lowell people, saying my comments have been noted!. that they can confirm they have previously sent an explanation of this outstanding account and copy statements to substansiate their claim, they now require me to contact an adviser and they trust this clarifies the situation. Firstly they are always sending 'explanations" and the "copy statement' was a screen shot from i,ve no idea where. I dont think this "substantiates" anything and that they are just bluffing. I sent the no debt acknowledgment letter (an excellent piece of writing, i might add) and asked for proof of debt again! and this is what i got back. next step? any ideas?
8. lowell lettr.pdflowell lettr.pdf hope this is a better attempt.please let me know. thanks.

10. hi thanks for the info.just got home and found a letter, this time, from red stating they have been asked by lowell to collect the supposed debt.they even state on the letter that they are an arm of lowell portfolio, which doesnt appear to give them a whole lot of credibility really. i sent of the no debt acknowledgment yesterday so i,m sure that will filter through to these red heads. i eagerly await the next installment.
11. hi,no history other than that i have stated i,m now receiving texts from a company named" red " and presume these are all linked. lowell have even found my email address and contacted me that way with much the same demands as in there letter. i shall write to them tonight using the no debt acknowledged approach and see what responce i get back. i,d just like to add what a great site this is and and thanks to all the kind people who have responded to me.

18. Hi.I have been fighting off Bryan Carter for some while now,for a supposed debt to o2. I recently wrote back to them stating i wanted original proof of the debt. I dont think they had this, and advised me they would be in touch/and or return the debt to lowell portfolio. A Triumph for me i thought! but no.. iInow have these lowell people writing to me. I have enclosed the letter as it seemed the easiest way to explain it. What i would like to know is-Can i use the same tack with these people and ask for original proof of the debt, I really think they are just trying it on and i want to beat them so baaaddd!! MANY THANKS FOR ANY HELP. REGARDS. S
19. h.i.i,m sorry if this should,nt be on here.if so please tell me and ill do something else. i received a letter from lowell, stating thanks for my recent correspondence(i,ve made none!) and that they have previously provided me with information and documentation that is sufficient to make the sale of debt effective.. they go on to say this is a service agreement with o2 and not a credit agreement. this is for a supposed debt to o2 for 359.97. they state their client has no obligation to provide a signed agreement.. blah blah.. settle the debt etc etc.. the thing is.. i had all this from bryan carter to start with, whom i managed to clear off by asking for proof of the debt. they,i guess passed it back to lowell. what i,d like to know is will this tac work with these people.i still dont believe they have proof of an original debt, otherwise i,m sure they would have been only to quick to send it on to me. i intend to fight them but need the right ammo.please help. regards i,d like to know if this tac will work with these people. i still dont believe they have proof of the original debt
20. hi,thanks for the link,i,ve had a look but i,m unsure if this will act as a counter towards bc,they state in the recent letter," we confirm that the consumer credit act does not apply to the the account as it relates to a contract for services and not credit:however we have requested a copy of the invoice and hope to revert to you shortly. you can obtain a copy of the contract from the store where you originally purchased the phone." they state a request for an invoice, which does,nt sound like any kind of original document to me plus i "obtained' the phone online originally and then i think i must have defaulted on the contract,so obtaining a contract maybe a wee bit tricky my end?
21. Hi i have used the advice on here to apply to bryan carter for a copy of cca for a debt with lowell financial of 359 pounds, but they got back to me saying the cca did not apply as the account relates to a contract for services and not credit(it was a mobile phone i had forgotten about).i really want to fight these sob,s and need a new angle to counter them.can anyone help? i so want to beat them.getting my own finances sorted and then this jumps out at me. any help in my fight mucho appreciated!!
