  1. I rode it less than 100 miles, and the engine has failed. I do not know exactly what has happened, and would not until it was stripped down. I am very mechanically minded and know when an engine has completley failed.
  2. My question is.... What can I do? Its a £1500 repair...!
  3. Hey folks, So mid Feb I buy a motorcycle off Ebay for £3700. I have ridden it once, and on its second ride out to its first MOT the engine lets go. I am mechanically minded and I know its in need of a major repair or new (secondhand ) engine. These cost from £750 plus fitting... which to be fair I could undertake. The bike was sold to me as I very good condition, with a full service history. Its a 2007 Aprilia Tuono. With no modifications. I have sold my older bike now, and this would of been my primary transport. Thank you in advance.
  4. I now have letters and texts and automated voice messages, stating that they will 'attend my property' I did not send the above letter, as I was away should I do it today?

  6. Time flew by... No one ever replyed to my CCA. LLoyds nor the first debt agency. I now have a letter stating "Notice of Legal Action" from a differant debt managment company. What is my next step folks??? Should I call them? To avoid legal action...??
  7. Hello all, As it stands today I now have Apex AND BLS calling me.... leaving me messages every second day. Still not heard anything from Lloyds themselves. I am going away for a month, family issues in Europe. I need to make sure they stop calling my mobile whilst away, as that costs me money! Mitchell and Partners - I spoke to them a few weeks back... sorry.... they did say that this letter the CCA ment nothing. The debt was with them.
  8. Hey folks... Had APEX credit folks calling me now... on behalf of LLoyds. Asking for payment. Should I be paying a small sum, if I can afford it or not???? I have still not heard anything from Lloyds regarding my CCA letter. Thanks... A confused me. Fx
  9. I have just recived a letter from BLS. Asking for a payment of £300 TODAY. If not I will force them to formally demand the full balance of £13,761.57. Ignore this or pay ups?
  10. OK... One more thing... I have no money to pay this month or last. I am already three payments behind... I get paid next week. Should I give them anything?
  11. Hello again... I am still awaiting a reply from sending in a CCA. Also have got a company called BLS calling me every day and Allied International calling me again... should I speak to them or not?

  14. Hey .... These loans were taken out in 2003 I think, and yes I do remember a payment protection something or other being taken out too. Excuse my vauge memory, as it was a while ago and my lack or memory and paperwork and letter opening got me in this mess... As it stands today - Acc no 1. £13,000 with BLS collections. To pay £300 to keep it on track, missed last months. Current agreement is £150 per month. Acc no 2. £10,000 with Allied international. Scottish... err.. bunch. Call me ALOT. Stopped answering now. They are demanding a £2000 deposit this month then £150 min each month or will issue a CCJ. I simply do not have that sort of money.... These are BOTH loans. BOTH from Lloyds... even when I was having trouble they gave me more money.... one was a Business loan the other was a personal loan to help the other one out, they said at the time.... I was young and so stupid. Thank you every body.... I feel a heap better already, as NO one knows my situ.... Fx
  15. A huge amount of info on here, I am getting a bit confused. I am £25,ooo in debt, two debts with Lloyds... one for £10k and one for £15k. a few months back I was offered settlement figures. £4500 for the £10k one. And 10k for the big one, but only if I paid it within a week.... not going to happen that one. I almost managed to get the money for the small one but had an accident, £3k went on my work van. And am now getting phone calls from a scottish man telling me to borrow off friends and family or else... I do not get phased by this but it is annoying. I have had this over my head for 5 years now, I am self employed and have a few times missed payments as I simply ran out of work and if honest not the most organised person. Do I keep paying the monthly amount even if the debtors are telling my payment plan has failed??? I have NO money this month... due to my van being repaired and losing 3 weeks work. What is the WORST they can do?? My credit rating is zero any way, I have no mortgage or kids or anything really.... I am tempted to just file for bankruptcy but I stumbled on this web site.... Thank you in advance.
  16. Just jumping in here.... in debt with Lloyds, business loan over 7 years back, plus they just loaned me more a year later... a seperate loan. went over 30k at one point. Self employed, missed a a few payments, arrears etc.. BLS are now involved. Offered me a settlement figure, on 1st loan its at 10k was offered 5k to clear it... all done over phone. Basically, with out scrolling thru numerous posts, is this a wise option? I still have 14k on the other loan too... Thank you in advance.
