  1. Hi Andy! So sorry for delay yesterday ended up a nightmare of distractions and to top it all scanner broken! We carry on regardless lol! Anyway yes letter is headed without predjudice and goes on to say that payment should be recieved by 12th august and if not I will remain responsible for the full amount of £3954.00! Hope this helps! Continuing to appreciate your assistance as I know you are busy Kind regards Debs
  2. .....will post up their letter this afternoon for your perusal
  3. Hi Andy Yes that's the form..N150. With regards to the offer, at the beginning of this episode I offered them £2000 as final settlement as this is all I have access to but they rejected it and counter-offered £3500. Now they offer £2700 but I still only have £2000 to offer but would be really happy to settle at that amount. Your defence must have put the wind up them, it was really good!! Where would I stand if this went to court iyo? Kindest regards Debs:)
  4. Hi Andy! Hope all is well....finally have some news for you! Have received an allocation questionnaire which has to be in by 12th. Plus this morning have also had letter from our friends solicitors saying that in light of the situation they are willing to negotiate on the £3900 owing and will accept an offer of £2700 as full and final settlement so looks like they are breaking a bit!! Still had no documents off them though! Kind regards Debs
  5. Hi Andy, Hope you are well? Just an update, am going to submit defence today as have to go away for a couple of days, still not received anything from our friends. Will submit online. Let you know what happens next week!! Kind regards Deb;)
  6. Hi Andy! Thanks for kind words, yes will definitely keep you updated as to our friends replies...or lack of them. Couldn't have reached this state of mind without your expert advice and support though! Kind regards Deb
  7. Hi Andy Just an update...received letter from the court acknowledging receipt of my defence, so I just called the court to explain the letter we sent was not my defence but a complaint about the claimant not producing documents. Court were very helpful told me to submit my defence next week, like yourself, based on lack of documentation and that if i still hadn't received anything from them that they would be penalised accordingly! Regards Debs
  8. Cheers Andy! Will be in touch as soon as I hear anything anyway, but like yourself I doubt I will receive anything original or true! Kind regards Debs;)
  9. Hi Andy! To true...will SAR them tomorrow anyway, as you say better to be prepared am I right in thinking that a £10 postal order should be enclosed for this? Will keep you up to speed as things develop! My best regards, Debs
  10. Wow! Andy that sounds amazing...thank you so much. I hope it is struck out after that. Will copy and paste into word ready for the day we submit. Will post up any replies we get in the meantime and keep you posted and in touch with proceedings through the week. You are a true good spirit!! Regards Debs;)
  11. Thanks Andy, look forward to reading it! Really appreciate you taking your own time in drafting this up for me. Time limit advice also sounds great- thanks. kind regards Debs:)
  12. Hi Andy. Hope you had good weekend, mine was certainly more relaxed than previous weekends. Was wondering...in your exprience when should I file defence...is it better earlier or last minute, does it make a difference? Kind regards Debs
  13. Too right....Thanks Andy! Graet advice as always. Not feeling disheartened, your experise has made me feel loads better about all this. Kind regards Debs
  14. Thanks CCM for input, also to Alison82 but I am not going to back down afterall they don't play fair!! Debs
  15. Hi Andy! Well put the CCA into CL recorded with £1 postal order and copy to SOLS, so lets see if they send us anything now?? Feel loads better about this now thanks to you!! At least we are having a good stab at them regards Debs
  16. Hi Andy Just adding some info for your perusal..here is last correspondance I recieved from CL, from that statement date to date of claim form (issued on 9th)...didn't give me time to post anything to them...
  17. Many thanks again Andy....great advice! Will post CCA today and you too have a nice weekend! Kind regards Debs
  18. Well I agreed to pay GE £50 per month and was paying them, then all of a sudden my account switched to these lot....I paid one payment to them of £100 to bring the account up to date. I held next payment back a bit as I was concerned about who they were and what had happened to my account (mistake i know!) then I received a statement saying £50 due immediately on account and next thing I know was the claim form...without a DN or contact by them at all!!
  19. Hi Andy Well it looks like they did send NOA only couldn't see it before as it is a very small box at bottom of a letter! First thing I did notice was they start calling me Miss D ***** and not Miss Debra ***** is this relevant? Will leave this to your expert eye and see where we go from here:
  20. ...oh forgot to say at the time I sent CPR request, I sent it to both CL and their SOLS.
  21. Hi Andy The arrears on the default are all the charges and interest they put on the account that mounted up over the months they were ignoring my requests for temp payment arrangement!! The balance before all of this started was about £2300/£2400 ish then came the snowball of interest and charges. DN had my full correct name and address, well it didn't include my middle name but thats all I can see. If the default notice arrears were taken off the total balance it wouldn't be far off my figure. Going to look for that NOA, if it likely to look more like a letter it will be in a different part of my filing system (lol...yes I do have one albeit in a bit of a pickle)..... Kind regards, Debs
  22. Hi Andy! Good advice...will try best to chill tonight now. Well after exhaustive paperwork search only default notice I can find is one by GE from Feb this year: Hope this helps...we can (PM) tomorrow if you have any more thoughts on the situation. Cheers, Debs
  23. Ok! Phew, just going to root out that default. Can't tell you how much I appreciate your support!! Will post it up when I find it, regards Debs
  24. Hi Andy, too late about sols letter, had already printed forms and got them in the post before I read your post. Is it drastic or will it be ok?
  25. Off to find default and post letters, thanks again Andy, be back shortly, Regards Deb
