Hi- I originally posted these posts in another part of this forum- no advice yet received and I was wandering if I had it posted in wrong section- the 2 scenarios below I would now like to deal with , if anyone can advice then that’ll be great Hello, Old mortgage from Kensington Mortgages-redeemed in March 2003 I have been going through everything ,debts etc etc over past 6-10years- I used to have a mortgage with Kensington in 2003- it was redeemed in March 2003 when we moved away-- I know that once again massive charges were placed on the account, can these now be claimed back and how would i initially go about it?? as we moved in March 2003 and as it was all redeemed there has been no contact since. Re: A business account & personal account held from 1991-2001- Can i reclaim the £000's that i'd been charged over this 10 year period or is it far too late to request any such information.. I 'm not sure of the account numbers but i do know the branch and obviously have my old addresses Thanks

Ps/ SH - you are corrct in that a CCJ issued at wrong address for me-- I have applied to have this set aside and my forms were receibved by Northampton county court but it did cost me £75!! It's ridiculous what these guys are getting away with

many thanks- i hope some other advice will be offered later- just to add that the address on capquest letters is somewhere in Fleet,Hampshire. The envelope that all of this came in from Capquest is from' CDR, PO BOX 2768,BRISTOL,BS4 9DD are they mass mailing unsuspecting people with these demands?? is there anything that anyone cn do to stop companies like this operating?

these guys certainly seem to be on a mission- This mornings post, letter arrived with a demand ,supposedly from Natwest bank-- the last contact i had with Natwest was approx 2001-prior to moving-- this letters implies some sort of small loan--( didn't have any loans-only a current account!!) The reference numbers are not familiar at all and they claim the debt was re-assigned to capquest in 2007 With this one i am 100% sure about defending this but will it cost any monies to do so??? it is totally unfair for these compnaies to all of a sudden after 6/7 years of no contact to then issue a Statutory Demand,especially as it may cost me monies to defend their pointless actions-- plesae could someonehelp as i'm again in despair--

Thanks for that but i should jhave also asked that what if the charges from original creditor were ok'ish but it was the DCAand/or Solicitors who placed massive charges on the account

Aplogises if someone has already previously answered this. I have 2 lots of repaid loans/debts from 2006 which i eventually repaid through various DCA's etc and remember that both had added on some cracking charges,fees etc ( not aware of this site back then!!)- Is there anything i can do now?? To confirm that both have been fully repaid in 2006 Thank You

update-- not sure when i should be hearing back from Capquest-- i sent off my CCA recorded delivery on 5th Nov- it was delivered to them on 6th Nov Thanks

Thanks again-unfortunately i cannot confirm the last section of your post as i am not sure who they may have bough it from?? it has to be also going back at least 3/4 years as i have no recollection of this amount at all-- this i am sure of Thanks for advice so far

many thanks-- i have already filled in the N244 and have it here- With regards to capquest this debt( CCJ) was registered before my communication to capquest Re: Egg ( that also originally went to a previous address).. so i guess my argument that i' didn't get court papaers' could now be weak as i guess i didn't notify these people....but they have contacted me after approx 4 years so i guess i forgot to contact every single person. i really wish to also dispute this debt with capquest but as CCJ already registerdc i have no idea if i am able to ?? Thanks- Income not low enough so will have to pay £75--but court did say that i can apply for costs back if i eventually succeed.. Can someone advice how i still query/dispute this debt even though a CCJ has now been registered?? Thanks again

thanks-- just rang courts and ot will cost £75!!! to have the application set aside... This is a real joke as i really have no idea what this is relating to---and have no idea where they have been wrtining these alleged letters.. Really not sure how this will go...I actually 100% disgaree with the amount claimed but as a CCJ has now been granted,not sure how i could appeal the actual claim? Capquest are certainly on a mission !!

Hi, This is unrelated to my previous postings Re: Egg/Capquest. On monday i was forwarded a letter by some advisory company,stating that after the recent CCJ they could advice me!!!...I had no idea about this. Today, i have now learned that capquest ,via their agent, must have issued a CCJ against me in October at an old address and obviously as no response the courts have granted a CCJ!!!! Please could you advice what i do to remove this...i have no idea what the amount relates to( £367)-- the creditor name is not familar at all and it seems to be a purchased debt of some sort..Capquest are now ceratinly on my case but i really have no clue what this relates it... Thanks

These people have bough a debt from EON( Powergen)- Debt relates to electric at a business that failed approx 2 years ago-- Has anyone any advice of how to deal with their request-- i made it clear when business failed to EON that i cannot pay anything at all---they have now sold debt to the above Thanks

Thank you all again--- Been going through the statements that were sent to me---they are a little weird as they all stop in march 2005--- Also i was quite sure the last payment made in 2004..but statement also shows a credit in 2005--- at a later date am i allowed to ask them to prove these credits?? The charges for unpaid DD ="£20 each, and every month alot of interest has been added--- but no other charges appear on statement--- The statement appear to be copy state,ments my only confusion is that the statements provided end in March 2005--so not what happened from March 2005 to October 2008 Any further advivce much appreciated- in the meantime i will keep you all informed as to their response to todays CCA request

Ok--will do, Could you advice what the next steps are from CAPQUEST---having only sent the CCA request today(05/11)-- could they simply receive this, gnore it and then choose to serve a 'Statutory demand' on me? Thanks again PS/ The SAR is the standard one which appears on this forum
