I have 2 charges placed on a property that both myself and ex partner own totalling approximately 6000.00. Due to data protection i cannot get details of these from the debt collectiing agencies and my ex will not assist in this. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi, I received Notice of discontinuance from Eversheds this Morning, legally what does this mean to me? Can i file it all away and get a good night sleep or do i need to do anything else, the letter has been copied to the County Court.

Thanks for your response. The DCA sent my 1.00 back and said that they would forward my request to the Student loans company, as they did not own the debt.

Hi, I have to old student loan totaling about 8000 pounds one in 1995 and the other in 1997, now i understand that these are both old style contracts. I have been receiving DCA letters for many years about one a month on average, the DCA changes about three times a year and once a year the Student Loans then contact me. I have not responded to any of these or made any payment towards this debt. Are these statute barred? if so when would the default date be? when i finished Uni or did not respond to their letters or when i was employed an earning over the threshold. I have sent request for information with 1.00 fee and awaiting response. Any advice please.

Hi, I still have not had any response from Arrow or Eversheds since Feb 29th is there more i can do to get information out of them or am i better off letting them dig themselves a hole by not provideing me the information. Should i send the AQ now or last knockings. Thanks for the support.

Hi, The AQ is N150 attached previously I have a letter from the court that states that a fee of 200.00 is to be paid by the claimant on the filing of their allocation questionnaire. Do I also have to pay 200.00?? I also have a Notice of transfer of Proceedings to my local Court, do i address all paper work to this court now?? My CCA letter and 1.00 was posted on the 25th February and confirmed receipt of by Arrow 29th Feb and Eversheds 27th Feb should i be reporting them to the court if i have not received the details requested after the 44 days? I appreciate all comments, help received.

Hi, Received the following from Bradford County Court: Notice of transfer of proceedings Notice that a defence has been filed Allocation questionnaire Defence I need help to complete the Allocation Questionnaire by the 28th April, any assistance with this would be great. I have not received anything in writing from Arrow Global or Eversheds since confirming receipt of my letters on the 27th and 29th of Feb, as i understand it they have 12+2+30 days before they have broken the law, should i be writing to them ??
