  1. Hi, over a year ago i orderd a habd held vaccume cleaner from cdiscount. THey went into recievership a day or two after and never shipped the item. The money was taken from my account. THe other day in my junkmail i noticed they had sent out an email of offers which reminded me of this order i never received. The problem is there are no phone numbers on there site, and account seems to have been deleted. Does anyone have a contact number for them to see if I can get them to trace the order?   2. Hi, Just a quick background into my history with very/littlewoods. I have used them for a few years with no real problems. I orderd a laptop in summer 2008 on BNPL. Pament was due summer 2009... they hadnt started adding the full interest to the item then and it just got stuck on take 3... 3 months to pay with no interest. A friend needed a new washing machine and i looked on very as he lets me use my quidco if i can find him a good deal. So I orderd the washing machine advertised at £399 + £25 delivery. He paid the money into my general account which cleared my laptop and stopped me getting interest for the next year. When i looked at the order i noticed it was on my statement for £499. So i phoned them and they made me aware they changed their policy and the item would incure interest if the full payment was not made by september 2010. They told me the extra £100 was this interest and would disapear when i settled. Now it's within a few months of needing to be paid I phoned up to check that I would only need to pay the £399. But Very are insisting the cash price is £499 and they have no record of it ever being sold at £399. They do have records of my query on the price, and what was discussed but their systems are insisting it's £499, so thats what i'm required to pay. The only other evidence I have to hand is that the order was tracked through quidco for £399. I have sent quidco an email explaining and requesting any information on the transaction they hold. To make matters worse... the description of the washing machine said I would get a 1600 speed model (the higher up one) as there was no stock. So this is why i orderd it with them. They sent the 1400 speed and totaly denied that it ever said that(same way they deny the washing machine was ever £399). Now it would be handy as seen as they have totaly screwed me if i could freeze the account and pay it back on my terms as I could do with the money for a holiday I have coming up. I presume they have breached a few things here, and have misshadled my account, and lied to me. But what can i do about it? If they have breached their credit agreement in any way can i get them to close the account and have it investigated without being able to add any interest to it? Or could I claim the information is totaly wrong for the washing machine and get it removed from my account without having to pay?? hehe last one would be nice! Cheers Dave
  3. yes, all he said that he would be taking it further, and i would recieve a fine in the post. no word of caution, or 'You do not have to say anything but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something you later rely on in court'

  7. Hi, Just got pulled over for no seatbelt. The officer said he didnt have any of the new tickets as tehy had changed. so took my details and said it would be in the post at somepoint. Is this right that they don't have to give me any ticket or documentation of any sort?

    I have my natwest card in the pipeline, so thought I would get onto my egg next. I have not defaulted on payments with egg, so wondering the best way to go. If I do a SAR should I get everything back including the CCA? I take it even though I have not defaulted, if they can't produce a CCA the debt is unenforcable? Which approach do you think i should go for first CCA or SAR? Regards Dave
  10. if the card is re-opend i.e you can use it again would your credit file update? How are you standing with egg... have you frozen the interest or continuing with your credit agreement?

  12. Hello, I have a property on shared ownership, owning 75% and renting 25%. The rent is caluclated on the value of the property. Now the rent has gone up a few times in the last couple of years due to house prices rising.. I am entitled to a reduction now house prices are falling? Cheers D

  15. My hearing fee is due by friday and still no offer to remove the default with settlement.... Any thoughts? I thought it was normally settled by this stage lol
  16. well had a letter from the court today Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (hearing) and asking for £75 hearing fee
  17. ok well cobettes have submitted their AQ, but before this offered to settle again, I responded by saying only if the default was removed. Cobettes replied saying they could not by law. I am going to hold out until the last min i think
  18. ok I have got my Allocation questionnaire from the court today, and looked up on how to fill it in. I just want to clarify some points before sending the order for directions will these only have to be provided if judgement is passed? I dont have any statements as i was just given a small sheet with the charges on them?
  19. Cobbetts have just filed their defence I will try and type the rest up regarding the default later. Any thoughts on this? or is this standard procedure from cobbetts?
  20. Hi toymaker I ment have you received a default since you refused to pay egg after your agreement was terminated? Have you checked your credit file? And also are they still adding interest to your account?
  21. Sounds risky toymaker, but of course I wish you the best of luck. I suppose at the worst you could get a ccj from them. Have they issued a default notice to you regarding the account?
  22. i know what you mean about owing the debt, but where else is this thread going? There must be some goal at the end of it?
  23. Just getting the interest frozen would be enough for me!
