  2. I don't want to appear a hair head but where was the link supposed to take me as I ended up on Consumer Action Group Home page.
  3. Hi there. I am filling in partners N150 Allocation Questionnaire and even after reading Michaels thread regarding completing questionnaire, I am still non the wiser Section A - I assume I tick No, No, No. What do I need to put in No. 4 Have filled in B Section C - Pre-action Protocols - What do I put here? Section D - Have filled in witnesses part, do I put figure in dispute as that being what Barclays are trying to claim. Exprests Section _ Tick All NO Track - Do I tick Fast Track Section E - Trial or Final Hearing - Have put 1 Hour Section F - Proposed Directions - What goes here? Section G - Costs - Leave blank Section H - Fee - Is it not Barclays that should pay fee as I am not claiming any charges etc. from them. Section I - Other Information - Should I inlcude documents, if so, what documents. I am sorry that I appear useless but think I am way out of my depth here and am also tired so hard to concentrate. Any help much appreciated.
  4. No Jeff I haven't. I am going to have a look at it hopefully this evening or tomorrow and likewise I will be handing it in on Friday morning personally. I know I am pretty good with most forms, but this one has got me stumped slightly and am unsure whether it is Barclays or us who have to pay the fee if over a certain amount???
  5. Hi PT, when you come back onlin ecan you give me sme help in filling in allocation questionnaire for my partner. Needs to be back at our local court by 25th April. Many Thanks
  6. I am chasing Ambrose Wilson catalogue on behalf of my mother. I sent a CCA request to them dated 31st March with the statutory £1.00 fee. Their 12 working days is up on 16th April 2008. In the meantime my mother has had an urgent notice letter from Reliable Collections Ltd who have had my mums catalogue debt referred to them for immediate collection. What we can't fathom out is why the debt has been referred to them as she is not behind with her payments, although sometimes her monthly payments don't arrive on the due date due to how her wages are paid. I have only CCa'd Ambrose Wilson as they keep adding late payment fees and a credit charge which changes every month. My intention was to claim back all charges. Should I now CCA Reliable Collections as well?
  7. PT, when you have a mo I need some help filling out N150 form which my partner was sent yesterday. It needs to be back at our local court by 25th April 2008. Any help would be very much appreciated.
  8. Jeff, Got home last night and my partner had also been sent an Allocation Questionnaire. Think gonna need some help filling it in.
  9. No we haven't heard a thing. Mind you I haven't had todays post yet as I leave for work prior to the Postie coming. When I get home I will check mail and let you know if got anything.
  10. Why would they transfer it to our Local Court and when it reaches there, what happens then?
  11. My partner finally managed to speak to Northampton Court today regarding his case and they have told him that the case has been stayed and that it is going to be forwarded to our Local Court. What does this mean and what will happen next?
  12. No my partner hasn't contacted the court yet as he hasn't been able to find the time what with work commitments. I did try to phone them on his behalf but they wouldn't speak to me. He is hopefully going to call them Mon/Tuesday. Will keep you posted.
  13. Yes Jeff, I do have my own thread running on this. I don't know how you subscribe to it though, perhaps someone else may be able to help on that matter. I am going to get my partner to phone court to see what status of his case his, as I have tried to phone on his behalf and they won't talk to me.
  14. My partner is also in same position as you, sent off defence, courtesy of PT which was received by Court on 26th Feb 2008. They forwarded to Barclaycard Solicitors and to date we have not heard anything from anyone. Think there time is up with us also.
  15. Received letters yesterday one from Goldfish saying they had sold my debt to Cabot, and in same envelope letter from Cabot welcoming me to their company and that they were now going to collect the debt that was owed to Goldfish. The letter asks that I get in touch to sort out repayment terms. What should be my next course of action?
  16. I am dealing with this on behalf of my mother. She is currently paying Moorcroft Debt Collectors £30.00 a month towards a debt of just over £500 owed to BT. The only problem is that at least £300 of this bill is for numbers dialled whilst my mother was at work. I have gone through lengthy phone calls with BT with them saying that the numbers must have been dialled. How can you use the phone when you are at work? I know BT were on Watchdog a couple of years ago regarding numbers that were getting put onto peoples bills, but they are adamant this cannot be done. Is there anything we can do to try and sort this out?
  17. Many thanks to you both, I will contact Court after Easter Hols.
  18. I wouldn't be calling Barclaycard. On the letter from Court, they said that they would send copy of our defence to Barclaycard and that Barclaycard may contact us to try and negotiate. They haven't to date. I may give court a call next week after Easter hols.
  19. Just thought I'd check in and let you know current status. Filed defence to court on 26th February. Court sent us a letter confirming receipt and that they had sent a copy to the Claimant (Barclaycard). Had no contact from Barclaycard whatsoever. I believe their 28 days is up at the end of next week. Should we phone the courts to see if they have received anything yet or will they get in touch with us?
  20. This may be a stupid question but while my partner is waiting on the courts, should he still pay the pro-rata payment he offered Barclaycard when he got into financial difficulty?
  21. Hi PT. Have gone through defence and all seems to read OK. Have got it ready to post at lunchtime. Do I have to send anything with it, ie. the defence part of the form issued by the court or do I just send it on its own?
