Hi mugs mcgee i'm in the process of claiming back fees on behalf of my wife with A&L and she too was just offered a pittance of what she is owed,they really are the worst of all the banks to deal with.It would be great if everyone who had issues with them took their buisiness elsewear.So as you said "onto the next step".Good luck!

Just joined the forum today and have already read some great advice but i was wondering if anyone was aware if you can claim back any other bank charges.For example,i have two business accounts(HSBC & NatWest) and in the past have been charged ridiculous amounts for increasing my overdraft(£75.00 & £125.00).I have spoken to my account manager and he has told me that i could not claim these charges back as they are legal as stated in my terms and conditions(but i believe he would say that whether it was true or not)Any advice would be greatly appreciated.cheers
