  1. That's fantastic! I hope they follow suit and do the same for my claim. Absolutely brilliant thats another one chalked up for the consumer! best eight8:)
  2. Hi Becky, Thanks thats a pretty good idea. Don't think they will send them! when i requested the statement by post I was just ignored and my cheque never cashed. I eventually went in to the counter to get them... I'm hoping they will settle bu it seems Halifax are the tough nut bank to crack!! Thanks again I'll keep everyone posted. Jay
  3. Hi new to site, Have just been through the same song and dance with the Halifax myself, Have just Registered my MCOL and waiting to see where things go from here. Again nervous I reduced my claim from £7335 to £4995 to make sure that it was seen as a small claim and also limit any costs if it goes to court and I loose! I was hoping anyone out there might have copies going back 6 years of the Halifax T&Cs they could email me copies of as this would help if the case is defended. Does anyone know what else one should prepare? THX
  4. Hi just issued my claim on MCOL against Halifax after being refused via the standard letters (again stating that it was in Terms and Conditions) I'm Claiming £4995 plus court costs. I hope that they default or settle but if they defend what is the best way to enhance my case? Is requesting via freedom of information Act a breakdown of the bank charges a way forward? How can I get old copies of Terms and Conditions? Any help would be useful. Thanks in advance
