  3. Hello can any one provide some advice: Ace Catalouge Default they state issued 08.06.13 not recieved by myself. Outstanidng balance £288.04. I wrote to them on 27th of August, they wrote back to me on the 4th September stating the default was valid and issued 08/06/13 and to send in £10.00 for the file. Completed this today I have recieved the data protection summary they state I would have agreed to terms and conditions when opening an account online and had view of a credit agreement thus they can not send a signed credit agreement. In the account notes for the year there is no entry on the 08.06.13 to sugest a default notice has been issued. There is an entry on the 4th September 13 which states "sent copy of default noticed issued 08.06.2013) the copy of the default notice I recieved was a general one not specific to me" Can you advise on the best way forward.
  4. Thats great is there any particular argument I need to make on the application. As the judge may say that I had agreed to pay the amount and it has taken a series of months to take this action.
  5. I am new to the forum sorry if I have posted in the wrong area. This one may sound a bit different We saught veteniary treatment for our dog in 2009, we were told the bill would not exceed £200.00 for 24hours of care and were advised we would have to consent to further treatment. Dog was let out the next day with the bill nearing £400.00. We advised we could not afford this we paid £100.00 on the spot and set out to make a complaint. I emailed 4 letters of complaint, with no reply. They instructed a debt collector again no reply to the complaint or for a request of how the charges were made up. Next think court paperwork lands for the amount, I could not insert a defence as I could not ascertain how the bill was made up, the vets or the debt collector did not reply to demands. Therefore I made arrangment with the court to pay at the rate of £28.00 per month. Since then the Vets have finally provided paperwork and it shows that treatment was added that we did not consent to, they have also showed a consent for our treatment with the costs at £200.00 for the first 24hours. I now wish to challenge this how would I go about it and is there any legal argument I could quote to try and get this overturned. I thankyou for your help.
  6. I dont remember anything with them, I'm just wondering are they likely to remove the data or stick with it. And no contact and they searched a year and 6months ago!

  8. Hi there I seem to have multiple searches from a Debt Collection agent searching my file. Do you know if there is a particular letter I need to send them in order I request they be removed. They have made 3 searches last month, and Equifax tell me they appear in Table 1 on the credit file and will remain as "outstanding Debt Search" for 6 years. Thanks for you help
