  1. Ok. By the way, a big thank you to everyone for all the other contributions. It is appreciated.
  2. When exactly did we last have a mass, peaceful demonstration in the U.K.? Iraq War wasn't it? That was peaceful and had a million odd people marching in the same place! Ok, that one didn't work because war had already been decided, as we all now know. However, let's get 'many millions' up and down the country peacefully doing the same thing and the government will have to take notice. It's hardly rocket science!
  3. You are entitled to your opinion. I have given my reasons. Like it would be the first time in human history that someone helped people to cynically gain trust. It's a bit pointless going on about it, as everyone can make up their 'own minds'. I think you'll find that when it comes to legitimate public protests it is often hired goons that kick things off. Our right to peaceful public protest has been steadily and deliberately eroded in the last decade and there isn't much of it left. Anyhow, I am not for one mass protest in one place. I am for protests in every city and town up and down the country. The last thing I want is violence and trouble and don't envisage any. In fact, I would argue that the more of us on the streets means it's more likely the poeace will be kept. Again, people can make up their 'own minds'. Anyhow, just why won't the government sort this big mess out? That doesn't disprove my opinion of him, as explained earlier in this post.
  4. Well, it isn't a free country, but let's not get into that. I have made my view clear on Yourbank and stand by it. It's not just because of this thread. He himself said others didn't like some of his posts. I ddin't know that. He never appeared on the 'March For Fairness' thread either, as I predicted. I already addressed the possible logic behind his actions as being a 'gatekeeper' earlier in the thread. Read through the thread. If we disagree, then we disagree. Can you provide some quotes for me? Just curious. We agree completely. Yes, it's all a complete stitch up. Unfortunately, I think you'll find the A.S.A. about as helpful as the F.O.S..
  5. Once you look at how it all works it really is quite something. I haven't got the time to investigate and source everything I hear, no one has. I have heard that Bush story many times before though, and from credible people too, so I would assume there is truth in it. This bank charges fiasco says it all for me. It just exemplifies how completely screwed up everything is. Just how warped are these people? This situation is beyond sick. The government could sort it out, but they don't. That's no conspiracy, it's a fact. Disgusting and obscene. Shame on all of them. Empathy must be an alien concept in their minds. If they actually made an effort to sort this out I might have 'some' faith in them. Elites, you start illegal wars so you can sort out bank charges! I've been mulling the following excerpt from the OFT, yes OFT, press release over in my head. How sick has a society become when it's Office Of Fair Trading releases something like this? 7 October 2009 The OFT has published a follow up to its 2008 report on Personal current accounts in the UK. The follow up report details how banks will be making the costs of current accounts more transparent and how switching between current accounts has been made easier for consumers. To combat low levels of price transparency most current account providers will: make charges more prominent on monthly statements provide information on average credit and average debit balances, and provide illustrative scenarios showing unarranged overdraft costs. Considering the societal turmoil going on in the background and the sheer level of these charges I find it utterly surreal. It's akin to promoting and sanctioning more open and organised criminality!
  6. Yes, well at least you have stopped taking the **** out of me. I agree with most of that. The solution is to reform the infrastructure of our democracy. The party political system is a farce. It's like voting for meningitis or malaria. When you vote for your M.P. you would expect them to have a voice on the national stage. Unfortunately, that is largely a load of bollocks. M.P.'s are purely selected as 'yes men'. It is the antithesis of democracy. I am against party political systems and am for voting in independents with individual manifestos. After a general election we can vote for a prime minister, home secretary and foreign secretary. The Prime Minister can then select the rest of his cabinet. Reform can then take place further down the ladder so the vast disconnect between Joe Bloggs and Westminster can be addressed. Votes in parliament will actually mean something and corruption will be greatly reduced. As you say, we are already deep in and I don't have much hope. How UKIP perform at the next general election could be massive. I am only for UKIP on the E.U. membership issue and know they are not a panacea. I don't want to see a U.K. dictatorship again replace a E.U. dictatorship. However, my vote has to go there. Robot citizens makes for a **** society!
  7. Ok, maybe I didn't make myself completely clear. From the European thread you gave me the impression that, although not trusting them as individual people, you trusted them to do ok by the nation as a whole. A bit of inevitable corruption going down, but their policies and actions were generally for the greater good. Is that correct? I am not of that opinion at all and this bank charges fiasco is just a great example. It's like expenses in reverse. Our parliament has done absolutely sod all about it. It makes one think, do the government control the banks or is it literally vice versa? If our democracy stinks it needs to be addressed by grass roots reform, not by being lumped in to a much greater and less democratic political body. Are you pro NWO or against it? I'm against it and think we are almost screwed. A couple of years opportunity to fight back and that's that. After this time, their control grid will be well and truly in place. All handily aided by the 'War On Terror' of course. I have decided to stand up and speak out.
  8. Ok, well now we have discovered, admittedly through the 'process of your continued reading' in search of enlightenment, that you are bored and annoyed. It would indeed 'now' be bizarre if you kept on reading then. Just my opinion. I think this is something the whole nation can unite on. Even those fortunate enough to avoid these charges can see how truly monstrous they really are. If the protest is big enough it WILL work. Because success is worth it. If it looks like there isn't the interest, then I wouldn't be for it. I think the bank charge sites need to lead the campaign. Eventually, they will get an idea of the interest generated. Ah, so you concede there is hope then. Good stuff. That's what I like to hear. These were not nationwide, mass protests, not even the miners' strike. I'm talking about a real, nationwide, mass protest. Maybe he does; maybe he don't. I have given my opinion. Helping CAGGER's your way doesn't automatically invalidate my approach and vice versa. I wish you all the best with your methods and am not saying they are completely futile. Good luck to you.
  9. Excellent post, especially what I have highlighted in bold. Unfortunately, I don't see any success with the Supreme Court waiting for us at the end of the road. We need to get off our arses and on to the streets. They do want they want to us because they get away with it. It's so obvious. Let's face it, all of these charges need SCRAPPING COMPLETELY. Overdrafts should be subject to a rate of interest only and that needs to be regulated. All the other charges are just fantasies, apart from returned cheques. I often think that if we hadn't let this get so bad we might not be having such a hard fight now. Our government should have sorted this out a long time ago. The people we bloody elected to represent us can do it, but they don't it. I know why. P.S. Yes, I am a really dangerous anarchist dreaming of a fair banking system where I don't get ripped off like a mofo... LMFAO.
  10. In my opinion, I find Yourbank not supporting the notion of peaceful protest as very suspicious. I have also seen some of his comments on other threads that make me suspicious. That's my view. I'm talking about the Supreme Court decision regarding the banks, not the government. Anyhow, even if the Supreme Court sided with the government on EVERYTHING, then the biggest village idiots would be suspicious. Corruption and peer pressure can be very subtle. I'm not for one minute saying they sat in a room with the banks and explicitly made a plan! It turns out it wasn't the case because the 'Supreme Court said so'. I'm saying it was a BENT decision. My view is indeed alarmist, but not knee-jerk. I half expected it, but my jaw still dropped when the verdict was read out. It's odd that the OFT didn't take it to Europe isn't it? Level 1 - High Court - Wrong decision. Keep going! Level 2 - Court Of Appeal - Wrong decision. Keep going! Level 3 - Supreme Court - Right decision. Stop the case! Level 4 - European Court. Not needed! Not to mention that the High Court dismissed an argument and that wasn't appealed at all! How is it we are supposed to have any faith in the High Court having got that bit 'right' if they got the other bit 'wrong'? Ah, I know, that bit was 'right' for the banks. No need to take that argument any higher up the chain then. All seems unbiased to you does it?! Well, we certainly agree on that. Who argues it should be higher? I have not heard that one before. That's all great stuff and I do support it. Unfortunately, as our government and democracy isn't fit for purpose I don't see any success. I raised that competition argument with Dave 2 years ago. For people that just can't afford these charges a stop gap will do nothing, but it's still positive action I agree. Good stuff. The whole party political system isn't fit for purpose. Our democracy needs a complete overhaul! We need to be voting for independent candidates.
  11. That doesn't explain the 'unawareness' turning into 'full awareness' within a week. We had quite a cosy relationship with Saddam too if I recall. There is still plenty of $ there and it gives us another base in the Middle East. Glad to hear he survived, as I said. You have too much faith that these people give a toss about us. Not only are they doing deeds on the global stage, they are turning this country into a police state. It's a hard fact that our civil liberties are going down the toilet. I could pick many things, but filming in public - especially of the police - is a good one. It's a public right, but they clamp down on it with anti-terrorist legislation. Why? You 'really' think it is because of terrorist concerns? As they tell us, 'nothing to hide, nothing to fear'. Our leaders are just corporate owned dogsbodies. I truly believe they have their own best interests at heart, maybe they don't realise, over that of the nation. Look, why are we all on this site in the first place? Bank charges is why! It's sick, disgusting and everyone knows it. These people you have belief in could sort it quick and you know it. I'm supposed to trust them? You trust them to rule us? I'm stunned. Size of the toilet? If you can detonate on a plane seat, then you can certainly detonate standing up in a plane toilet. I'd say it was much easier. As for casualties and bringing a plane down, if the explosion was going to rip through the fuselage you think the toilet door was going to make a difference? Smoke detectors going off mid deed and cabin crew/passengers thwarting an attack? Come on. They were certainly disillusioned people, if not crackpots. I don't think they would ever have gotten on a plane, let alone blow it up, if it weren't for other factors. They were obviously picked up by security agents and used. The substances were harmless. The person with the tin foil hat as I suspected. I think his cat needs liberation. Send in Tony.
  12. If you agreed with her meteorological analysis you must be. Until we relent? We have already relented... http://fabiusmaximus.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/sheep.jpg
  13. I am simply presenting information. I am against a NWO, on democratic grounds, and don't want to be PM in any political scenario. All I wish is for our democracy to be of a high standard. It is woefully lacking at the moment and getting steadily worse. Yes, there's another world beater.
  14. Do you have a personal opinion on any of this information Yourbank? You have nothing to say about the filth I have highlighted? It's like the mafia extortion boys telling you well in advance exactly how much they are going to collect. That's damn helpful of them! Jolly nice of them! Unfortunately, the real problem is the poor sods that caught by this disgusting charges don't have the money to pay them!!! I know you were only posting the OFT information, but i'm surprised that you had nothing to say about it.
  15. Brian Gerrish, former Commander of the Royal Navy and anti-submarine warfare expert, talks about Common Purpose, government corruption and the shocking state of society today on the BBC network. He presents his view that 'lawful rebellion' against the elites is needed to get us out of this dire mess. It makes for interesting viewing. BBC5.tv eyePlayer - Common Purpose - Exposing the Real Traitors All comments appreciated.
  16. Yemen being a troubled area doesn't necessarily make it a hotbed for global terrorism. Gordon Brown himself stood up in front of the cameras and banged on about how they had been 'caught unawares' and that this was a 'new threat'. If they didn't know this before the Christmas day 'pants bombing' they wouldn't know this within a week of it happening. Absolutley impossible i'm afraid. It would have taken several weeks at least to send out operatives and gather intelligence for an official report. I am very sorry to hear your brother got injured in Yemen. Well, I haven't seen one person come up with an explanation yet and I have asked several people in real life to. They all seem incredibly flummoxed. Therefore, it would seem that everyone is unable to explain it. You are the first person I have encountered that claims you are 'not unable to' explain, but then don't. I would love to hear your explanation. Please, please tell me what it is. Wouldn't you be a little skeptical of someone claiming - yet not being forthcoming of - an explanation that no one else has provided? Moreover, I am mythed how asking a 'common sense question' as to why 2 dangerous suicide bombers sat in front of passengers lighting matches, instead of using the plane toilet to do their dark deed, would require a response of 'Rehashing ancient conspiracy theories'. That is the strangest comment I have read today. What facts? All you said was your brother, very regrettably, got injured there in the 90's You are not obliged to. She already does a great job in her tin foil hat. Apparently not. Badly damaged hand and a trip to the local A and E...
  17. I don't think you can get much more of an open agenda than writing to County Courts; discussing the validity of the Supreme Court verdict; and mass, nationwide, peaceful marches, but hey ho! If you are getting 'bored and annoyed' I find it bizarre that you keep on reading. Just my opinion. Everyone is free to make up their 'own mind' on that aren't they? Quite how you can label the public exercising their right to peaceful protest as a PR disaster is beyond me. The motive is clearly to let the government know that the public won't stand for these rip off charges any more. The tax payer would be out of pocket? Oh dear, I won't even get into that one with you considering the last few years. This isn't a march just for CAGGERS. This is a mass, nationwide march for the public. Otherwise, there would be little point doing it as it wouldn't achieve anything! The F.O.S. would deal with that as a 'special case' and just respond accordingly. It wouldn't cost them £400-£500 a time and I am doubtful if this is what it actually costs them anyway. I have raised that issue on another thread already. They will wriggle through alright. I am not against more letter writing and emailing though, especially to M.P.'s and the County Courts. I will continue to respond as I see fit. I don't find this situation 'funny or entertaining' at all. I find it very serious and alarming. If you don't find ideas revolving around a march as 'informative', then I politely suggest you look elsewhere for your stimulation. I'm very relieved to hear that. They aren't supposed to be. All lobbying and action helps and I am for it. I am sure that we will not get any real change without mass, public, peaceful protests though. Still no sign of Yourbank showing his support on the 'March For Fairness' thread. How bizarre. Could it be that he is actually against doing the one thing that might actually make a real difference? It certainly seems that way to me. Just as I predicted, yet again...
  18. They will obviously want any legal avenue to be as hard as possible. What is your opinion on all of this Bankfodder? It's definitely something we should be looking at I think. The F.O.S. has sunk to the depths where they see fit to ignore hard facts. Furthermore, do the banks 'really' pay £400-£500 a time for a complaint to be heard? Is that supposed to be after an initial verdict or only on those complaints that progress to an Ombudsman for a final decision?

  20. Where have you got this information from? Are you sure that this couldn't be looked at in a County Court? Are you sure you couldn't get legal aid? Thanks.
  21. No, I didn't hear that. You sound a little unstable...
  22. Your moggy looks very miserable. I think it's marvellous that you keep posting, yet despite seeming to have an answer to everything under the sun, are utterly unable to even begin to address the plane toilet issue. I am in stitches. All you can do is make silly off topic posts. Oh well, 'plane' for all to see eh... P.S. Make sure you keep your headgear on when you pass through the body scanners...
  23. It is largely a profession of parroting from what I can make out. 'Pretty Polly, Pretty Polly' If you have the power, then you can read 'the law' to suit your agenda. Don't be so naive. I have explained in my previous post what I suspect of him. Beware of banks bearing gifts, especially ex-employees. I said the Establishment and the Supreme Court, when influenced, were bent. Some judges may well be to. That doesn't make the whole 'legal system' bent and I have never said that. The banks may well have been stunned at the outcome of the High Court case because their arrogance knows no bounds. They soon got it fixed though didn't they... The Supreme Court, per se, was just a massive stitch up for our democracy full stop. I see what my common sense tells me. If it's a conspiracy, then it's a conspiracy. If it isn't, then it isn't. There are many conspiracies in this world of ours. It's just a case of separating the wheat from the chaff. I usually call things out in advance and I haven't been wrong yet. That must make me lucky or crazy of course... THERE WILL BE NO MASS PAYOUTS. READ, DIGEST, COMPREHEND. I KNOW SO.
