  1. I used to get calls every day or so but 2 weeks ago when they started the security questions i just stated that i will no give out any response to them over the phone as i dont trust who is asking me the questions and if it is who they say they are then i will only communicate by letter. There was stunned silence for a few seconds then she just said ok and goodbye. I recieved a letter a few days later but no more bloody calls;)
  2. I had the same problem 6 months ago when they removed my overdraft of £800 and froze my other account until i paid back the £800 in one sum. They dont give a monkeys and although i have been with them since 1981 it means nothing to them. I opened up another account with another bank and it helped to open up my eyes to the dirty gits. i am now claiming back a total of £8000 in charges/interest and PPI. Then when its all paid back they can get stuffed!!
  3. Excellent i will get on it right now. Many thanks:D
  4. Ok thanks. Would it be possible now for me to adjust which charges i am claiming back to bring the claim with interest to under £5000 or would i have to redo all the letters again? Its just that paying out £225 for one claim and then £85 for the other is alot at moment. Also i read somewhere that if i lost the claim i would have to pay the banks fees if i was claiming over £5000 but not if i was claiming under £5000. Is this correct?
  5. Hi Just filling out my N1 claim papers and wanted to ask about the civil court fees. My claim is for £4495.00 of charges and £1175.05 of interest bringing a total of £5670.05. My question is which court fee do i have to pay? Is it £108.00 as my charge total is £4495.00 ( being under the £5000.00 limit ) or the £225.00 fee as my total with interest is £5670.05 Hope this is clear!
  6. Hi I have sent the first and LBA following all the correct guides and now filling in the N1 court papers. My question is regarding the sheet detailing the bank charges and interest. I originally used the sheet from the Moneysavingexpert website ( before i found this site ) and was wondering if i now use the simple charges sheet would it be ok or would the poxy bank cause problems? Just trying to cover all the angles!! Thanks:D
  7. Got a copy of my credit agreement yesterday after much messing about from the lovely TSB and i am now going to start a claim back from them for the PPI. This loan was taken out in March 2005 to refinance other stuff and an overdraft from themselves! At the time it was a choice of loan sizes and repayment periods given to me but i had no choice but to take out the PPI otherwise no loan! Unfortunatley i have no paperwork to back me up on that but on the loan agreement the ' OPTIONAL LOAN PROTECTION' box has got a printed cross in it as it was already printed before i signed it. Can i claim this PPI back? It also states price of loan protection £1,042.76 and Interest on the loan protection £169.72 bringing the total to £1,212.48. Thanks:confused:
  8. I got my credit agreement today after lots of messing about but i sent it to the 125 Colmore road, Birmingham address and i finaly got a reply. Saying that, the address on the letter from them was PO Box 43, Peterlee, County Durham, SR8 2YQ. So it might be worth a try there;)

Hi Yes i have sent them the first and then the LBA with no response to the LBA from Lloyds. i have only got a couple of days left now so just checking on the next step. Is the MCOL best as it has been suggested that this is not always the case?

Hi Just about to start the ball rolling in making a court claim and just wanted to check the best way to go about it. I see that you can do a Money Claim Online with the county courts so would this be a good starting point?
  11. Hi I sent the LBA on 16-4-2009 and have heared nowt so what is my next move? I did see something about the account in dispute but cannot see any letter template for that! Any advice please:)
  12. Hi Last week i sent my letter to my local branch for the details and copy of the original aggreament for my loan. Up to this day it looks like they have not got it. When i go onto the post office track & trace bit it states the item has been accepted at ------------------------ which is the post office address! Is it that the local bank wont sign for these letters or what? Or is there a better address for Lloyds TSB for me to send the letter to again? Thanks:confused:
  13. Ok thanks for all the help. i have sent the letter today recorded of course:D

Hi all. Sent my 1st prelim letters to Lloyds TSB on 18-3-09 and have heard zilch. I have just finished typing the LBA's and will send tomorrow, recorded of course. Do you think they will respond or just give me the silent treatment? Boy i hate Lloyds!!
  19. Excellent, thanks. GE Capital was the company involved!! I will pass the info to the executor and we will have a go.
  20. My mother passed away in 2006 and going through her 'paperwork' we find she had a Debenhams instore card and some insurance protection with it which she was paying every month. Now the balance on the card was about £300 so we contacted the insurance side to claim. Aparently she was not covered because she was 81 and too old for the policy! Funny how they gladly took the premium money every month for years knowing that it was money for nothing!! Do we have any way of getting any premiums back or the £300 back we spent clearing up the card? Its not about money but the principle of it.The thieving, lying gits. Any advice would be appreciated.
  21. Best of luck to you. I REALLY hate Lloyds TSB scumbags and they deserve all that they get:D
