Tried to open another bank account today but because my passport was out of date I couldn't open one anywhere - don't know whether to send off for my statements and get the ball rolling - or wait till i get another account - got such bad credit - worried about N/W shutting my account

Just another quick question - I donn't think I was ever defaulted by N/W never recieved a letter - but when a D/D bounces does this mean N/W set a default against you?

Thanks - I Have Been Reading Alot Of Threads And It Makes Me Soooooooooooooooooo Angry That Banks/credit Card Companys Have Got Away With Overcharging - I Got Myself Into Debt About 6 Years Ago And More Then Half Of What I Owed Was Due To Charges - Things Got So Bad I Had To Sell My Flat To Get Out Of The Debt (even Though Iwent With A Debt Managment Company Who Done Bugger All!) Taking One Step At A Time, First Nationwide Then Who Knows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding the SAR letter does it get sent to the Pipers way address or the data protection address in northampton - been reading some other threads and it seems SAR letter have gone to the wrong address - any info would be great

Hi I'm new to all this and am trying to get my head round a few things - Firstly before i notify Nationwide that I want my charges back should I open another account ( i did see the advice on parachute accounts) it's just that I have such a BAD BAD credit rating I'm worried about N/W closing my account - also has anyone been sucsessful getting their charges back before starting court proceedings (cause that just scares me! big wus I know) However I feel N/W have ripped me off and I am sending my SAR letter on the 31st - any advice in the simplest terms (cause it does take me a while to get the jist of things!) would be great!
