  1. I got my money back after the very first letter (but it wasn't for a lot of money). Do not accept anything less than what you've claimes for.
  2. No! Do not accept anything less than what you have claimed.
  3. The interest @ 8%? You shouldn't claim for that yet - not until you file a court claim. Arrangement fees should not be included - only charges called overdraft or excess overdraft fees can be included fees - any interest on the authorised overdraft amount cannot be included. On your statements, what are the descriptions of the charges you've claimed for?
  4. Did the 1434 include interest on your charges? You shouldn;t really calculate the interest unless you go through to the claims court. If the 1033 is the actual amount in charges, I'd accept. :tu:
  5. I'm not so sure - I think it depends on how much you're claiming by the looks of other peoples experiences.
  6. Hi, Success after one letter! I sourced my statements by myself online which saved one step. Highlighted all the charges, and sent these and this sites library's standard letter off on the 17th July asking for my money back (only 560 quid, so not a huge amount). Got a reply on saturday offering full refund of charges (but they're not admitting any liability by this blah blah blah). Good enough! Many thanks to this site - I will be donating as soon as my account gets credited.
