  1. I'm preparing a claim against Bank of Scotland for charges on my mortgage account. The list of charges includes one of £250 for "litigation admin" and one of £557 for solicitors fees relating to when I defaulted on some payments. Does anyone know if I can claim these back?
  2. So they acknowledged my rejection, refused to pay the full amount, and said I should contact the Financial Ombudsman if still unhappy. Sent them an LBA today.
  3. Thanks. I'm sending 'Rejection of settlement offer' letter 1 now and taking off the 8%. If I hear nothing back from them this week I will issue the LBA early next week.
  4. Hello. I'm in the early stages of a claim against Intelligent Finance and could do with some advice! This a quick summary of what I've done so far: 1. Asked for a list of charges. 2. Received list of charges and returned £10 cheque. 3. Wrote asking for full refund + 8% interest (I notice this forum advises against asking for the 8% this early. I was using another website before). 4. Received a reply from Rhona Kerr-Sloan offering 50% refund. I'm not sure what to do at this stage. I've read that I should accept the offer as partial payment only as I aim to continue with my claim. Should I also issue the LBA at this stage? Should I combine the partial acceptance letter and the LBA or should I issue two separate letters? Should I drop the claim for 8% interest at this stage? Sorry if this sounds confusing. THANKS
