I just got my money from IF all £3k of it plus costs, now they are sending me a cheque and have blocked my card. Sounds like they are closing my account. Any ideas of how I take it further? I heard someone got a £250 fine from a bank for closing their account

Offered half I turned them down, sent in claim and got a letter from them with days to spare settled in full £3003 inc 8% + £120 costs. Donation on the way

I've sent my 14 day threat letter to IF, I called and they told me they have 8 weeks to respond by law. Is this true or a load of cobblers?

Did you send it to IF or their Information Commissioner's address? I saw somewhere on this forum that it's best to send a utility bill along with your letter or a copy of your statement. I haven't had a reply - actually I have, they closed my account:x
