  2. Ive just literally put the phone down to them now and the young lady informed me of all the charges ive had on the account and went through dates with me - total of £1057.00 since august 2005. Stated she would offer me a one off Goodwill credit of one failed DD charge of £39.00 but this is all the Halifax would be prepared to offer as "the charges applied to my account are as a direct result of my account being overdrawn or DD's failing". I even questioned the cost of the charges and asked if they should only be of a compensatory nature to compensate for their own charges to which she had no answer, put me on hold to "speak to her supervisor" then came back 5 minutes to later to advise her supervisor couldnt talk to me. oh the joy. im at a loss
  3. Have checked out all of the rules and the FAQ's, its probably just myself getting used to the forum (my first one ive used) but i dont seem to be able to find out any info on my next step or the procedure to resolve my situation. Any advice would be greatly appreaciated. Many thanks
  4. I personally dont know if this is true or not but would I be able to ask you a question? I have a very similar situation (1057.00 of charges) - how did you get them to relent and to refudn the charges?
