  1. Hi All, Without re-writing War&Peace about it, I have a situation where Vodafone are demanding nearly 200 pounds from me at the end of my contract and are wanting it paying as one lump sum. The problem is that I cannot afford to pay anything like this amount at the moment - I've just been in a car accident which totalled my lovely old car (and the insurance wasn't the type that replaces it). All attempts at taking the money by DD (how I usually pay my monthly Voda bill) have bounced, and have been racking up further charges at my bank. I've just had to go on an emergency trip to Germany (I'm German, and so was the car, although I live and work here in the UK) for medical treatment from the accident and to sort out all the paperwork for the car which cost a fortune in Voda roaming/data fees as well. (which racked up what I owe to Voda further still) The other thing is that I'm still in the 'probation period' at my new job, so I don't get paid for any time off due to sickness etc., although they've very kindly offered to let me do as much as work from home as is possible whilst I recover. Does someone know of any way that Vodafone could let me pay what I owe them, but allow me to pay it, say, over the period of a few months? I could probably just about manage that. Thanks, Lisa.
