  1. Thanks everyone, I had the offer letter in the post this morning, scanned and sent off the acceptance page will now be changing the title of the thread!!!
  2. GOLD - ahh the colour of the winner :) It was a brave contest, fought well, but in the end someone had to win!!!!! I just got the phone with Barclays an offer letter will be in the post in the next two days!! Thanks for all your help
  3. Hi Well I got a court date- sort of.... Small Claims Hearing on 15th June 2007 at 9.30am at St Dunstan's House, Fetter Lane, which is Mercantile Court....If I can't attend, I have to provide a written statement... please any advise would be appreciated
  4. hi Sara- Jane - bit of waiting game at this stage. I haven't heard anything since I was told that my case was being transferred, so just waiting to see if i get sent a court date. I'm checking the mail every day!!
  5. So, had a very random conversaton with Barclays this morning... Barclays, "Good morning, I'm calling from Barclays in response to your complaint about our bank charges" Me, "Okay" Barclays, "We've recived your letter of the 18th Feb, could I please confirm that you recived our response dated March" Me, "you are kidding right" Barclays, "No" Me, "Well I've already filed online with MCOL, had your defence submitted and spoken to your legal team about settlement in ful" Barclays, "Oh, I guess they forgot to update the file" How odd is that though- calling me to talk about LBA when I'm alredy at court with them, I guess it just goes to show what a shambles they are in at the moment with everyone claiming!! Ps Tori, I really think Silver is more your colour!!
  6. PEETTER nice to hear from you Glad to see you claim is still in progress... and yeah bronze is a nice colour, but gold is even better!!!!
  7. p.p.s where's PPPPEEEETTTTEEERRRRR..... come back come back, I'm winning and I wanna gloat!!!!!!!!
  8. p.s I'm soooooooooooooooooo going to win the race
  9. What do you mean you didn't have to fill out an AQ??????? Have they settled???
  10. Madhouse, well done on getting the AQ, I'm still waiting for mine So I got thru to someone else at Barclays, and I reallllllyyyyy wish I had recorded the conversation. Said point blank that they will setlle every legitmate (i.e numbers all add up) case in full. YIPPEEE! Bad news is the have too many case to settle them yet. He said that he knew it was silly but could I please fill out the AQ when I got it and send it back as they are only settling cases for this week and next week. He then gave the direct dial number of the man who is dealing with my case, I spoke with him and he said pretty much the same thing and then requested that I give him a call back once a court date had been set. So now I'm just playing the waiting game again, waiting for the AQ from the court and then will be waiting for my cheque!!! I must say it kinda already feels as though I have won as they have said that they will settle in full!!! I'm mentally spending the money already!!!
  11. nope, no AQ yet, am really hoping to aviod all that and them to settle quickly!!!!
  12. ok, did a search and found out about the Mercantile Court, am hoping this means a quicker settlement. I called Adrian St John this morning and got his answerphone, am hoping for a quick response
  13. Yeah girls always win!!!!! Peter hope you're reading this and come back I got a letter in the post this morning saying my case had been transferred to the London Mercantile Court- any ideas anyone what this means? Thanks
  14. Thanks - I'll have another read, does anyone have an example of what they put?? Tori- hope they enters yours, let me know how it goes I called the court yesterday cause I have no AQ yet, apparently they sent the case file to the district judge ot make the order and they should hear back within 10 days, so I'll be calling them on the 23rd to find out what's up
