  1. I am so pleased for you all, keep up the good work. Question on nationwide I am lucky and have never paid bank charges [if I forgot a payment and was charged I would ring up and they would reinburse as I have a largish amount of credit deposits with them.] In 2004 on 2 occasions I wrote cheques to my son and forgot to transfer funds to cover the amounts [ 2 days overdrawn:-x so they charged me 2 unpaid cheque fees £28 50 each. Can you beleive and refused to refund. I read somewhere nationwide are going to start closing accounts that ague? As I like the way nationwide works in a general manner I dont want to be closed down. I want to join your fight as I agree with your stance on their actions. Shall I remind them how much I have on deposit with them or just apply for a refund.?? In this case which template would you suggest. regards to all Shalimar actually happened to me cheque deposited bounced they refunded themselves twice.no apolgy! NatWest did better I sent £4000 by telegraphic transfer and a few days later received a letter saying I was overdrawn;I checked and NatWest had sent 2 amounts of £4000, I demanded refund of 2 sets of charges they were reluctant, and the manager said to me ""we got one transaction right"" beggars believe, I demanded a bottle of wine and drank it.
