Whats LBA?

Hello,Someone please tell me if im doing this right as not had any feedback from anyone! boo hoo! Update..sent letter 8th dec detailing all charges but didnt add interest, have received reply from Bank 8th Jan!!! saying they have not fully completed investigation..blah blah and they will contact me by 12th FEB!!! with a full response (another month!) They have ignored my deadline and given me a deadline now!! (how did that happen!) Do i have to wait for their response by 12th Feb or do i send another letter along with interest added, giving 14 days for them to reflect or do i just log court claim and add interest on at that time!! Please help anyone..anyone..anyone..

Sorry have just realised you have been discussing for 2 months! Didnt mean to jump in but is this usual re my query below..Hsbc have never replied to any of my requests for statements so I just sent the spreadsheet and 2nd letter.

Hi Am new to this so will apologise now for going over same ground. Have Sent 1st letter to HBSC, checked progress just before deadline and they say never received. The guy told me he can send my statements within 10 days, phoned to check progress on 9th day and was told no request made!! Ordered again and was promised 10 working days, so in meantime went online and sorted through statements myself and have now sent 2nd letter (RECORDED)along with spreadsheet of costs and awaiting reply. No statements ever came through from the previous requests though. Has anyone experienced the same? as everyone else seemed to get response from 1st letter (with other banks though).
