the dvla requested my licence so points could be added so i sent my licence in thier envelope this morning I have had another letter asking for my licence and they are revoking my licence in 4 days I have tried to ring the number on the letter but is constantly engaged anyone have any ideas of what to do?

you are one real EDITED arnt you the car has not left my drive since the offence and pat davies has pointed out what I needed to know thank you pat however when you did not get paid enough to see you through xmas for working as a sub contractor for the first time and still not seeing a penny and strugling to get in a job..... keep making your comments conniff...EDITED we are here to help each other not put one another down!

so in other words it would have been better to of gone to court in the first place rather than pay an on the spot fine? the police also said to me that if the on the spot fine was paid no further action would be taken but now that seems to be bull suet it clearly states that the police reported it....I guess there is no way out of this one?

they gave me a very long piece of paper and the on the spot fine went to central fines at rugely which they stated they would not be giving a reciept for you can use your state ment as evidence this was payed the dvla then wrote to me which i recieved today pay £131 or go to court date of offence 03 12 07 this was reported by the police although they said if the first £60 was payed no action would be taken.

Hello there all. yes I do know you should'nt drive a car whithout tax on it,but this is what happend and dont think it is right the police stopped me and gave me an on the spot fine of £60 or face going to court so I payed the £60 lone behold a month later the dvla write to me and say I must pay £131 or face going to court is this right? and I thought threats of you pay me this or go to court is somthing that can be challenged in the human rights act? any help here please

I was knocked off my motor bike in august 06. The third party accepted all liability, my motor bike was paid for. However leathers and other items have not been paid for there has been a solicitor on the case since the accident but i still havent seen the money. every week the insurance says they are sending a cheque out ans the last time i was told i am in breach of contract because only the solicitor should be speaking to the insurance company i have asked the solicitor to send this to a small claims court but he hasnt lifted a finger,any help would much be appreciated

before i send the preliminary letter i have to point out it clearly states in the contract with the bank and on the back of each letter they send me (charge) that un authorised over drafts not arranged prior with the bank you will get charged £30 so as this is a signed agrement doesnt this mean i am in breach of contract also? i have read the facts and figures and would just like to get this cleared up before i start my claim also on phone banking they say they can take the ten pound charge and send the six years of past statements instead of writing in to them.

i am on a basic tsb account which will not let me go over drawn but i have gone over because of a d/d ( £1.89) and i have been charged £30 and on the same day of the d/d i used my card so they are charging another £30 for being over by £6.89 if it is illegal how come they are still doing this?

no the insurance broker was still running while i canceled the policy but never returned the remaining six months policy i didnt want anymore cover at all and i didnt think that it was right for them to hold on to the money as only six months worth was used instead of the full twelve baliffs have steped in to recover the loan taken out by the broker to cover the insurance policy which was signed by me(i think) no this has not gone to court as i have agreed to pay the ballifs £10 a week i supose this is just like the farepak incident everyone looses out

it was a car insurance company named j and m however they are not trading and took six months worth of policy with them which is 380 quid and balliffs on behalf of amber credit are taking payments from me if the company went bump shouldnt they have returned the remainder to me as i canceld the 12 month policy on the sixth month

i took out a policy with an insurance company which they arranged the finnance however the policy was stopped after six months and they went bump not long after and never returned the money to the finance company or myself to pay the remainder is there anything that can be done about this ? i am paying a ballif at the min as i thought this matter was not right nobody seems to want to help

haha i gave the threat out today not only was i taking this this matter up with northhampton traffic court i said that there would be a small claims court they would have to deal with for court costs solictors fees and personal within two hours of hand delivering the letter to them stating this and getting them to sign a copy also i had a phone call saying they are terminating this mater well it has taken a year and a half to resolve this now i am contacting the local paper to make a laughing stock of them.....

if i have to take this to court is there any way of getting my money back for getting a solicitor involved like taking the matter up with a small claims court?

i have his number and the council requested a letter from the police to prove this had happened howevevr the police wrote' you had a choice of leaving the vehicle in situ or to have it removed at your own expense(105)' the council decided it was good enough to carry on with sending ballif charges the police also that day decided i had no insurance or licence so i told them to take me home to prove otherwise so they left me at home instead of my car i am angry and dont know what to do

i would put some of the letters up on this site but i dont know how to anyway i got pulled up by the police for a road side breath test which i failed but when taken to the police station for a accurate analisis it showed no alcohol at all however i was made to park on double yellows which the local council have given me a ticket for what can i do please help

on 21 jan 05 i was pulled over by the police and instructed to leave my car on double yellows after failing a breath test then took to a police station miles away to have a 2nd test which showed nil the police didnt like this and accused me of having no insurance licence and forged tax to which i said i can prove other wise if you you take me home so they did and showed them the docs to be called a liar again he took my licence from me and said it was not valid even though my ban had been up ages either way the local council and the police say it was my fault even though i have prooved my innocence and i now have ballifs asking for 250 quid over this matter any suggestions??????????????
