Found this fantastic forum and decided to take action against the Halifax for the princely sum of £4,229! Have done letter template 1 and received a reply with an offer of £1,259. Have just done letter template 2 and am posting off today so will keep you updated with the next installment soon! Have also opened another bank account just in case they refuse my business.
