Hi all, No reply from Barclays after I told them to stick their £1000. I'm now in the process of completing my claim on the moneyclaim web site. One very quick question: do I include the interest in the ammount claimed box? Thanks

Had another letter, this time from Swansea. It basically says they beleive I am wrong however they are willing to give me a £1000 as an offer of good will. Now a grand just before christmas would be very handy however given what I've read on this site I'm going to tell them to stick it and get my LBA in the post today.

Got a reply from Barclays saying the following: "We are looking into your concerns and will let you have an answer or update as quickly as possible, but no later then 21 December 2006. In the meantime if you wish to discuss this matter further please call us on 08456090806" I'm guessing this is a pretty standard reply? It didn't come from my branch (where I sent my premlim letter) it came from Leicester. I shall give it another week before sending my LBA. Thanks for your help everyone

I have filled out the spreadsheet and all is allot clearer One final question, say Barclays come back to me and say they are prepared to payout in full ie £4.5k would I be within my rights to tell them to hoppit as I wanted to hold out for the extra 1100 odd quid in interest. Thanks for your help again. Just so I get it 100% right. To work out my daily interest I do: 0.00022 X 4535 (ammount I have been charged) = 0.9977 X first date of claim ie 2500 days ago?? so it'll be around £25 Apologies if I'm being stupid.

Pardon my ignorance, so I can only claim the 8% back if it ends up in court?

Got my 6 years worth of statements over the weekend and spent a couple of hours going through them last night. I couldn't quite believe I've paid out over £4.5k!!! So with interest I am claiming back £5,690.49. I'll let you know how I get on
