  1. Hi There, 1) I have a student account with an interest free overdraft, and have been charged around £30+ for going over the limit of the interst free overdraft, either by direct debit or by purchasing something that took me over the limit slightly. Wil I be able to claim a full refund back based on this? 2) If I can claim a full refund, is there a limit to the least amount I can claim, for example, if I have only been over twice meaning i have two charges of £30 each, totalling £60, is this possible or worth claiming back, and would I use the same preliminary approach or is there a student type template maybe? 3) Will I be charged or be made to pay anything out for trying to claim my £60 back, please can you confirm the steps I need to take with this (as a student), as far as i understand the only payment I would pay is £10 for the statements?? but I worry that if it doesn't go my way I may occur tother things to pay and this would of all been a waste of time and money, please can someone explain any costs? 4) As I have a student account, and in my final year of studies, It will mean I have a graduate account instead next year, if I make a claim now, will this affect me getting a graduate account, I am thinking they might bully me to close my account, therefore, i'm thinking maybe I should wait until I get the graduate account out of the way first? 5) Is it fine to be writing the letter of claim to the local bank manager? what are the sort of things the bank manager may say in a responce to my letter? All the best, I hope this can help other students in the same way, the search option always pulls in some useful information that maybe relevant to you. Many thanx!!
