  1. Recieved a letter from LLoyds advising they were paying me £368 in relation to my claim back for fees ages ago. The letter pre-dates the OFT intervention, but all LLoyds keeping saying is that they are investingating why this hasn't been paid into my account or it will be credited in 7 days etc. What do i do next? It's gone on to long now I have a letter saying the money would be credited within 10 days of the letter, does this count as legal document so they have to pay up. I have only spoken and wrote to their CS dept is it worth setting up camp at my local branch until they credit the money. Your help is greatly appreciated. thanks
  2. hi can someone advise if a photocopy of my application for a credit card for SKY is the full CCA or not? they have also sent a fake copy letter of the dead of assignment that they have put together. thanks
  3. hi Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong section however i just wanted to spread the good news. I took out an additional 36 month warranty insurance with the RAC from a car purchased with Available cars. My car was written off at the beg. of the year and when i asked to transfer the warranty to my new car i was refused and told the policy was null and void, no refund no transfer. After 5 months of letter writting etc. i have succesfully argued the case that all such insurance premiums should include a pro rata refund clause if the car is written off during the period of the warranty. If anyone else is in a similar position don't hesitate to contact me and i can send you a copy of the letter i used. just recieved my cheque for the refund for the policy from available cars who have been good through this. In fact the director has just called me at home to make sure i had the cheque and everything was ok, and said how this was a test case. Still persuing RAC for compensation and costs. The RAC have been no help and there staff verge on incompetance and laziness. cheers matt:) Good luck to anyone else

  5. Asked for my CCA for my choice account. Recieved the following response really unsure what it means or is just really poor english? This has been recieved after the first letter but four days before the 30 day letter is up. "I believe tha we have complied with the requirements of section77/78 of the consumer credit act 1974. You are certainly indebted to this company as set out in the previous letter (no previous letter recieved) but it is noted that you are denying signing the agreement, notwithstanding that you represented by your actions that you required credit. With reluctance, we have taken a commercial decision not to persue the matter. Yours sincerley ....." What should i do next? thanks for your help in advance Matt
