  8. I do know from personal experience Lloyds rolls over. A few years ago paid a chq into Business Account. Phoned up 3 days later to be told it had cleared. Gave the items to my customer to recieve a letter next day to say he had stopped chq. Police etc were involved cause this guy had form for this sort of thing (didnt know at the time) my sister worked at hq and told me who to phone and what to say. Two days later they refunded the money and asked for crime number etc. But get this they never went after the money owed. Police caught 12 months later he got 2years. But it was us they mentioned as being defrauded and not Lloyds Also a few years ago my ex brother in law owed Barclaycard about £4k and would not pay said he couldnt so they wrote to him and wrote off the debt. Can you believe it
  9. Having read quite alot of the posts in most forums, I really dont know where to start. I have between me and hubby something like 8 CC and the charges for late payment etc we have had over the last 6 years would make your hair curl. Just had statement from Accucard (even though they have been informed we have joined CCCS) charge me £20 late payment, £20 Default Notice, £20 being over credit limit. Which they have put me over with the charges. Also found out Bank Charges from Lloyds this week ( personal account £370) Business Account(£410) And they have the nerve to file an notice of lost of trust or something like that. My Business Manager never phones me I leave numerous messages he never phones. I hate banks and CC's So i sit here reading everyones posts wondering should i try??????
  10. With regards to paying your overdraft back, as far as i know if you owe money to a company / bank etc and you make a payment plan. Legally they cannot refuse payment. If they took you to court and you told the judge but i am paying (for instance £40 per month) and i cannot pay anymore because of this and you show your budget plan. The judge would throw it out of court. As long as you pay something regular its ok
  11. Has anyone actually recieved a payment from Lloyds ?. I am in the postition that i have a Gold Account which I am trying to change to a basic account plus two Business Accounts with these people plus my mortgage. Last month my personal account had £420 taken out for charges, so i am thinking about trying to reclaim it all back. I have opened a new account with HSBC but have to orgainse Business Accounts trouble is Business Account has a large overdraft and loan if they called that in I would be in big trouble. I am with CCCS with regards to my personal mess so getting an Overdraft with a another bank is not an option. Help and advice would be great
