Hi Everybody, copey123 here. I have been reading up on taking on the banks for the last couple of weeks now. I only have my last 3 months statements to hand but i have been charged £175 in that time alone so goodness knows what i have had in the last 6 years! Sent off the letter to my bank (Barclays) today to request my last 6 years worth of statements. One thing i am slightly anxious about is that the account i will be making the claim on now sits roughly £2000 in the red. It may be possible that i make that much back in reclaimed bank charges, but if not, can they close the account and request that i pay back the remaining overdraft immediately? Hoping to have lots of fun on here, read lots and lots of success stories so far and hope to be one of them in the near future!
