Is it Natwest policy to close an account if bank charges are reclaimed and if they do would it be before or after a claim is repaid. Also i have a personal loan with them what do they do reference that should they close the account ?

Yes i thought that myself. But i was contacted by Natwest asking if i still wanted the statements i said yes and then the cheque was cashed. I think i got the £5 fee from another site, Which, i think. I will try and find out where.

I am about to embark on a quest to get my bank charges back from Natwest. I have already sent for my old statements sending a cheque for £5 which has been cashed on Sept. 6th but as yet no statements. Can anyone advise who at Natwest i deal with is it my branch, head office or where? Also i am going to claim charges back from 3 other institutions is it best to claim one at a time (i am thinking if i have to go to the small claims court) or go for the lot. Please excuse any computer illeteratcy as this is all very foriegn to me but i will improve hopefully.

I am intending claiming back charges from /nationwide, Natwest bank, G.E.Money and Barclaycard and i am seeking advice. I have recieved accounts from Nationwide going back 6 years, what address to i go through to begon claim, i have also received accounts from Barclaycard going back about 3 years. Re. Natwest i sent a cheque for £5 for my statements which has been cashed but as yet no statements have arrived again do you know who at Natwest do i deal with is it the branch or head offive.
