Some good news here for me,recieved a letter today from capital one with a settlement offer of £368 full and final settlement do i take this offer or do i push them for the ful amount of £936 thats without the interest any advice would be great.

Well ive started the ball rolling sent off my prelim and schedule of charges to halifax hoping to recover £717 of charges,not expecting anything from the prelim other than a polite get lost. but you never know:-) got the templates for the next letter ready for action but if gets to the online court part then im gonna need a little help maybe i take that it doesnt matter that i no longer bank with the halifax and i will still be able to make a claim against them. thanks peeps

sent the prelims off today cap one.tsb.and the halifax the missus kept all the statments so i did a schedule of the charges from that and sent that along to via recorded delivery not gonna expect anything in the way off payment from these but it starts the ball rolling. been into town and opened a new account with barclays just incase the tsb close my account. so ill keep ya posted on any responses from any of them.

hi im new to this forum,i would like to say hi to everybody. i was wondering if anyone outthere has taken on capital one i have a credit card with them and i have recently gone through my last 6yrs of statments from them and added up all the overlimit fee and late payment charges these come to about £936 to date with out the interest they have charged i was wondering what the next step would be to reclaim these charges. any addresses would be very helpful to me. thanks to you all and lets get back whats ours
