  1. Forgot to ask would it be ok to add the first 3 lines of the Rejection of Settlement Offer letter to the LBA letter, as i have had an offer before i have sent the LBA letter. see below Thank you for your letter dated 18/10/2006. I am very disappointed with your response to my letter of the 12/10/2006. I respectfully decline your offer of settlement and request once again that you return to me all charges imposed on this account, totalling £490.82 I will accept the sum offered only as part settlement and on the clear understanding that I will pursue recovery of the remainder, with a County Court claim if necessary. I now understand that the regime of 'fees' which you have been applying to my account in relation to direct debit refusals, exceeding overdraft limits and so forth are unlawful at Common Law, Statute and recent Consumer regulations. I would draw your attention to the terms of the contract which you agreed to at the time that I opened my account. It is an implied term of that contract that you would conduct yourselves lawfully and in a manner which complies with UK law. I am frankly shocked that you have operated my account in this way as I had always reposed confidence in your integrity and expertise as my fiduciary. I calculate that you have taken £464 plus £26.82 which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £490.82. I am enclosing a copy of the schedule of the charges which I am claiming. I have already sent you a copy of this in my original letter of the 12/10/2006 I require repayment in full of this money. If you do not comply fully within 14 days then I shall begin a claim against you for the full amount plus interest plus my costs and without further notice. Yours faithfully,
  2. HI folks done a search but cant find anything on what to do if they offer you a part refund, because I've just had a reply from the royal bank of scotland offering me a part refund of £114 form a total claim of £495. In the letter they sent me, it said if i accept their offer which will be final, I was to enter yes, date and sign the letter and return it to them. I'm obviously not accepting their offer so what do i do next? refuse it and send it back with the LBA letter? or, do my own letter saying that i want a total refund? what next PLEASE HELP.
